Well it actually makes sense. It's a pretty simple story so everyone can get into it. Set in ancient Japan, so a pretty popular setting. It's been about a year since anime was released. Then it ended. Then the movie got released. Probably one of the first movies to release after covid. So all the success was concentrated within a couple of years' span. It's something similar to what happened to Avengers, when infinity war was released. And endgame became the most earning movie of all time. ![]() Anime was it's best 20000 years ago, when cavemen drew art with real depth. Modern anime is all garbage. I miss great old days of anime. |
