Well it actually makes sense. It's a pretty simple story so everyone can get into it. Set in ancient Japan, so a pretty popular setting. It's been about a year since anime was released. Then it ended. Then the movie got released. Probably one of the first movies to release after covid. So all the success was concentrated within a couple of years' span. It's something similar to what happened to Avengers, when infinity war was released. And endgame became the most earning movie of all time. Anime was it's best 20000 years ago, when cavemen drew art with real depth. Modern anime is all garbage. I miss great old days of anime. |
