I am trying to make a manga and have an amazing story line, however i dont really know how to draw so im looking for an artist who would want to collaborate with me in making this manga, someone who is experienced in drawing fight scenes, detailed sketches etc, for free that is because im broke. I don't mean to be rude, but it would probably be faster to teach yourself how to draw than it would be to find someone as skilled as you're hoping who's also willing to work for free. |
you dont think i tried? i did multiple times and it always went south, literally all my drawings were weird and no where near decent, so yeah thats not an option, hence im here |
You should rephrase this. Ask for an artist to collaborate with you. Also promise that you’ll be sharing profits with them. |

unfortunatley, i dont have free 10-12 hours a day, im a student and i have exams coming up, if i did however, do you think i would be here? asking for help and collaboration isnt a sin, chill out, theres always a reason for why someone is asking for help, and there is here as well |
I'm just going to be realistic here, you're not asking for a collaboration, you're asking for someone to do hard work in exchange for ~exposure~ Putting their name on the front of the cover is not going to help pay their bills. Do you think artists have 10-12 hours a day to draw free detailed art for you? There's no chance any artist is ever going to respond to this. You'd be better off actually trying to draw your manga yourself, even if it's bad. You'll improve as time goes on, even if you don't spend a lot of time on it. If you want to increase your chances of someone responding however, don't be so vague in your request. What is your storyline about? What makes it 'amazing'? (That's easy to say, everyone believes their own ideas are amazing) What do you mean by 'sharing profits'? The manga industry isn't exactly extremely profitable, especially if nobody knows you. And I doubt you have a plan on how to publish your manga. What kind of art style does your manga have? There are so many unanswered questions that you should really address if you want someone to work for you for free.  |
