Well, if one were to say that a masterpiece must be the equivalent of a 10/10 rating-wise then I actually only have one post-2010 series rated with a 10/10 and consider it thusly:

- Usagi Drop (2011)

I would consider a few of my post-2010 9/10s to be very close to and teetering on that edge though. Specifically,

- Shiki (2010)
- Hyouge Mono (2011)
- Mahoutsukai no Yome (2017)

But there are just one or more very minor specific reasons holding them back.

Out of my 7 different 10/10s for individual series, only Usagi Drop is post-2010. I don't consider "masterpiece" to be synonymous with "perfect" though. It's a masterpiece because to me its 11 episode run was completely flawless and impeccable in every aspect - portrayal of intergenerational familial dynamics and capturing that essence of the passage of time in true iyashikei fashion, music, watercolor storybook aesthetic and the successful bridging of the adult and children's worlds emotionally on a very naturalistic and base intuitive level, the organic integration and juxtaposition of both real and penetrating drama and levity to infuse its small world and characters with a real dynamism and sense of life and authenticity. Its simplicity and willingness to and effectiveness at telling a "small" (in scope) story. It's not perfect because 11 episodes is still far too short. Most of my 10/10s are masterpieces but not perfect to me though.

It could’ve been but eps 7-10 were rushed, even if they got the point across

For me it would be AOT. It is so well written, the world is rich and the character designs are awesome.

If u had read the manga my man then you'd know that it isn't rushed at all.
As for AOT, season 4 will be the deciding factor if its a masterpiece or not and i've a strong hunch that it will rock

From 2010 onwards the amount of anime being produced became absurd, to the point where it's hard to find a season without a single really notorious title.

This decade was when the anime industry grew even further and gave us WAY too many masterpieces for one to simply list them all.

There are many hidden / lesser known gems, from Aku no Hana to Gridman, Shoujo Shuumatsu, etc. but I think MAL's top list does reflect well the amount of masterpieces that japan has been pumping out lately.

Gintama' onwards
3-gatsu no Lion &
Steins;gate

These are the 3 shows that I had no doubt of giving a 10/10 rating because of its quality; impact it had in me; and the amount of enjoyment I had while watching them.

Not in relation to the manga, I mean in general, the concepts were really broad and the story really changed. I guess that’s personal preference though.

Are we talking about anime or manga/novel series?

My choice for manga are Grand Blue and Love is War in Comedy. Their stories never bore me. And Kaichou and his vice always have me in the first half, not gonna lie.

Oregairu is in Seinen novel. A turning point of preference.

Animes are in variation, but the adaption of Grand Blue is cool.

I wouldn't say that, every arc in season 1 was around a 7-6/10, especially in the manga where the art wasn't that good. However, the quality of it's art and writing has dramatically increased after the 'Return to Shiganshina' arc (the last arc in season 3), now every arc since has been a 10/10.

Though the amazing thing about Isayama's writing is that every troupe and stereotype seen in the earlier arcs is commented on through the writing in the most recent arcs, so even some of the early arcs, with their it's merely decent character writing and plot points, seem amazingly written in hindsight.

When Camelot, Solomon and Tsukihime Remake come out, they will be added.

91 Days (2016). I've become obsessed with the show, as of recently. May give it another rewatch. I loved it because the tone was a breath of fresh air, for me.

Madoka (2011) is another favorite of mine, due to the music and visuals.

Both of these favorites of mine got the seal of approval from me~

If a masterpiece is an anime that I have rated 10/10, then there is only 6 of those so far for me, and half of them are from the 2010s.

Usagi Drop (2011)
Mushishi Zoku Shou (2014)
Mushishi Zoku Shou 2nd Season (2014)
These are three anime post 2010 that I have rated with a 10/10.

I have watched over 850 shows, and there are a whole 4 at this point I gave a full 10/10.
That being:
Gintama Movie 2 (2013)
Chihayafuru 2 (2013)
Mahoutsukai no Yome (2017)
Gintama. (2017)

Honestly, none. There are obviously quite a lot of good shows, but there is none that I truly call a masterpiece.
