I'm so happy it's getting an anime adaptation! I didn't expect it, but I'm definitely going to watch it! ![]() My taste is shit but so is yours. Current obsessions: JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken, Hypnosis Mic and Tian Guan Ci Fu |
I'm so happy that another manga in my favourites list is getting an anime! This one is super adorable, sweet, and extremely heart-warming. The fact that the format hasn't been announced makes me think it may be an OVA, but I'm really hoping for a TV anime. Either way, I'm so excited to see it animated and I hope it brings a lot of new fans, the franchise definitely deserves it. Also just found out that the manga has been licensed, I'll definitely be buying it when it releases next year! ![]() Modified by Lalafin, Nov 20, 2020 1:49 PM ♡ artist サコ |

I'm so stoked this is getting an adaptation, it's one of my all-time faves. I was just thinking like a month or two ago about how it deserved an anime. Between this and Umibe no Etranger getting a movie this year, it's nice to see some wholesome m/m romance getting adaptations finally. For those who are unsure about picking up the manga: yes the plot is generic, but honestly if you enjoy fluff and slowburn romance it's a great pick. iirc, the author actually doesn't apply the label "BL" to it and it subverts/avoids some of the common tropes of the BL genre. ![]() |

AHHHHH YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS im so happy ![]() "Everyone fails sometimes But dreams won't fade, dreams won't fade Let's chase them as many times as it takes and don't lose Because today after all is today and once you wake up, it'll be a new morning" ~Aqours~ |

As someone who has read the manga (several times over) and as someone who finds most SoL incredibly boring, I’m pretty confident in saying that StM isn’t boring. While it might not seem like the most exciting plot, it does have its moments of drama and pain (ones that don’t feel contrived) and it turns so many BL tropes on their heads. StM plays with common BL tropes and kinda pokes fun at them. Don’t get me wrong, It is cute, it’s absolutely adorable, but it’s not boring. I mean, again you could just find it boring but ,,, definitely give it a shot - it’s worth it to at least try. ![]() |

The uke is often used as a self-insert vehicle for the female/girl readers since they can identify with them (hence why they are written as feminine). So yeah, it actually, kinda is. :P I am open for arguments as to why that would not be true, I love fanboying/discussing about my obsession, but they better be good ;) Though off course more with something like junjou or sekaiichi and less with something like finder or crimson spell... ![]() |
