I'm curious so I'd like to know the differences in this Sherlock Holmes and the Sherlock Holmes originally written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Tho do try to keep it spoiler-free as I'm just an anime-watcher for this and I've not even finished the entire books of Sherlock Holmes from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Well, I haven't read this one, but one thing I can say for sure -- in original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works Moriarty appears maybe twice, at best? This obsession with Moriarty must be from some movie adaptations. So I think it's completely different than the original Sherlock Holmes stories.

This looks like an anime version of BBC Sherlock.
As a litle spoiler Watson is Conan Doyle and he writes what happens in the show as the books. Ya meta as fuck i know. So not that close to the books.
