| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another week, another case (sans multi-segment "mini arcs"), hence how this series has gone for over a pair of decades now. Tried and true this formula has gone and it's aged fairly well. Still not equal to some of the better things from this otherwise rough year of 2020, though. This week, it's "The Quarrel Maidens", and it's an anime-original filler (cause why not?). It involves a co-star's "accidental" death (seen this setup before a zillion times lul) and a missing brooch. This time it's Sleeping Deductive Queen Sonoko ftw LMFAO. |
