| i like my anime men to have ridiculous huge old school clamp shoulders so the pv was a little disappointing. rip toya's shoulders in the new clear card anime. also the fact this being done by hand shakers studio is filling me with fear tokyo babylon is one of my favorite manga so I'm sure my expectations will not be met lol |
| I'm in the minority that doesn't even think the stuff that GoHands have produced in the past was even that bad, and judging an adaptation, before it's even out, based solely on the studio that's doing it is incredibly shortsighted to begin with. As a longtime fan of the Manga I'm excited for this. It's a miracle that this is even being adapted at all for modern audiences, let alone being adapted fully (which according to what I've read is going to be the case). And hey, maybe this means some other older CLAMP works will get the Anime adaptation they deserve if this does well. I'd be down for that. |

| Well, when I haven't watched the trailer, I was literally in tears! Tokyo Babylon is surely one of my fav... So I'm already glad that they would get a full anime... (hope they would also get enough time to tell the whole story...not like the half-assed RG Veda OVA....or the rushed X movie...) After watching the trailer, let me be honest, I'm surprised by its quality (the SFX is sure - Wooooow!!) and the movements etc, just from the sakura from the start you can already see its improvement from the previous Tokyo Babylon OVA... However, you can't say its perfect since as a CLAMP fan, we all loooooove their original artstyle... since the artstyle has been changed...that's quite a sad one for us (of course it will attract those younger viewers since the new generation is more into this kind of style).. But yes as I said before: I'm already in tears that we are going to get a proper remake...that's actually some hope for those other manga(which CLAMP never finished) *uhem - X.. uhem uhem* to let them finally finish it... (sorry for such a long text my lord I'm just way too excited HhHhHhhh) |

CLAMP has such a unique style, and it's reflected in pretty much all of their other works that have been animated. This just.... isn't it. Subaru looks super young and like a completely different character, and Seishirou looks like a softer version of Saruhiko Fushimi. Basically, the character designs weren't broken so why did they try and fix them? The art is pretty enough in and of itself I guess, but... it just doesn't work for me for this series. Although I have to say that the backgrounds/blurred stuff is reeeeeally distracting so hopefully that was just to show off in the preview lol. |
| The art looks like CLAMP's current artstyle, and I think it's beautiful. The only problem I have is how the trees look too realistic for a CLAMP story. Hope they have proper drawings by the time the anime is made. I wonder if this will lead to X finally being continued. Lol. (Yeah, that probably won't happen. 😢) Edit: I looked at the art again. It feels more shoujo than CLAMP, apparently. It's still close to their current style, so I don't mind the character design changes that much. Plus, it's pretty. But, I hope the anime properly makes the art give off a CLAMP-ish feeling. CLAMP art shouldn't be messed with! |

Uoooo - Looks like I'm the only one here who thinks the SFX is beautiful here XDD but for real, the sakura really made me think of X ;-; (only the movie thoooough) But yes I do agree about the character design - Seishirou looks not even half... devilish/psycho with the look he has now and Subaru...hhh They indeed look way younger with that kind of artstyl (but isn't subaru quite young in TB?) |

I really like K and the character design there, but as a fan of CLAMP I can't really be happy that Subaru resembles Misaki and Seishirou resembles Munakata while Hokuto doesn't seem to resemble anyone, even less her original -_-' At least the sakura petals were very CLAMP :P I'm certainly going to watch the series, but I always approach the adaptations of CLAMP mangas with caution, as there are just few that were really good. |

I don't mind small changes, but making the story happy would take a big chunk of Subaru's growth away. |
| Ill be from those people who are disappointed by art... When I saw the PV at first I thought that it is some kind of fan video until it struck me that its not fake. How could they make cute shoujo manga-like artstyle for psychological horror series? Characters doesnt look like themselves, Seishirou looks like random 18 years old schoolboy, I cant even.... Sure, as CLAMP fan ill watch it, but I know Ill be sad thinking how it doesnt do justice to the manga, how lacking of atmosphere and charm it is... :''( p.s. having hopes for X ending on which I kinda gave up long ago |

| I don't think the new PV is bad, however it did not inspire confidence in this project either. Subaru's VA and the direction of the show based off the trailer make me skeptical. |

| Not that I want to trigger the fans here or anything but the original art looks something straight out of the circus. The new art looks 100x better. (Spoken as a fan of Cardcaptor Sakura and TRC, and I love the new art in Clear Card). Also, I'm very positive about this since it could be the first step in right direction for Clampverse if it's successful. Though I would love to see TRC reboot instead, but it's a good start. |

Hokuto and Subaru look totally fine, but Seishirou looks too damn young and doesn't do the character any justice. Aside from that, the animation looks fine as well. I'm still hyped to watch it, and see how they adapt the manga. |

I need it DESPERATELY. When I heard this news, it was like 17 years of waiting, desperately desiring to know what Kamui REALLY wants, to know if my baby Yuzuriha and Kusanagi get a nice happy platonic ending, desperate to know who survives, might FINALLY pay off. 15 year old me may at long last find peace.
