The official website of the television anime adaptation of HERO and Daisuke Hagiwara's Horimiya manga revealed two additional cast and a second promotional video on Monday. The anime series will begin airing in January 2021. Toru Ishikawa: Seiichirou Yamashita (Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise) ![]() Yuki Yoshikawa: Yurie Kozakai (Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita) ![]() Haruka Tomatsu (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) and Kouki Uchiyama (Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda.) are starring as Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura, respectively. Horimiya is being directed by Masashi Ishihama (Persona 5 the Animation) at CloverWorks. Takao Yoshioka (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) is handling the series composition and Haruko Iizuka (Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge) is designing the characters.Masaru Yokoyama (Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo(TV)) is composing the music. GFantasy began publishing Horimiya based on HERO's original 4-koma romantic comedy manga in October 2011. Square Enix shipped the 15th volume on September 18.
