I must say, that OP theme song is rather catchy.

The show has a fate theme going on with Nasa meeting Tsukasa like that. It's like they were destined to meet each other. That truck scene though. And we got a confession already from the first episode. While the relationship is moving fast, I think it's suited for this series given the premise.

Pretty neat start. I read the manga before so looking forward to more. The story of a married couple!

Loved the first episode. So freaking cute I was squealing like a girl for most of it. Banger OP and banger ED. It’s nice to have a couple be together from the start and see their growth as opposed to the playing games, running around in circles usual romance anime. I’ll have to check out the manga.

Being a massive fan of Hata Kenjiro's next work, I'd have to say that this was a fun, if not, close-but-accurate depiction of the manga. NEVER HAVE THOUGHT TO SEE Tonikaku Kawaii get an anime adaptation, but FINALLY, HERE WE ARE BOYS. Hata-sensei flexing his marriage TO THE MAX.

Nasa and Tsukasa are just TOO LOVELY, and the hint of Kaguya-hime...won't spoil it too early, but it's a treat for the future going forward. Junya Enoki and Akari Kitou as respective VAs really hitting out of the park.

Chapters 1 to 4 adapted (with some changes), but manga readers will know what's coming up!
Overall, CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE WHOLESOMENESS!

The opening theme was so good, I like that voice. The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter very interesting theme, I thought that Tonikaku Kawaii is Orihime and Hikoboshi. This first episode was pretty good, I was really hooked on Tsukasa. Some scenes are good, I like it the most when Tsukasa agrees to Nasa's proposal, The Moon and Tsukasa really were like Kaguyahime.

I don't understand with the marriage system, can't wait for the bed scene, lol.

But I am not fond of Nasa design nor his voice...

At least, it is faithful of the original content

Hayate the combat butler was the first harem anime I ever watched and it was when I was ahem.....years old. So I was really excited for Hata Kenjirou's next work and this is gonna be legit great for sure.

Tonikaku Kawaii is one of the most wholesome manga I've ever read and surely it's also gonna become one of the most wholesome anime too as this episode almost fully brought out the mangas potential. Thou ofc I still think this was even cuter in the manga but the anime's almost on point too.

So non manga readers get ready for an awesome ride of wholesomeness.

I didn't actually like episode 1, neither did i like the first part of the manga in correlation. But it can only get better than this, i know it.

can i just say why does the character design feelthe same as higurashi and 100 man ?lol

In all honesty, this shows looks like it'll be really good, they even animate the classic Tsukasa and Nasa faces from the manga. Nasa's voice kinda surprised me though, I imagined it was a bit higher-pitched, oh well.

This was a fun episode of exposition in the beginning and married couple stuff during the second half. :)

Never read the manga. This was sweet, wholesome and quite funny. Nothing great, but I couldn’t really fault it either. OP is an absolute banger.

Nice start, the opening is very good. I love Hayate (haven't read the manga for that yet but the anime is great), so I hope this is gonna be fun too!

I've been waiting for this anime to drop since 2018. ITs finally here and I'm obligated to love it. Tsukasa is just cute. I love this show, God bless Hata Kenjiro

I read a little bit of the manga when the anime was announced, and it was pretty good. They did a great job on the first ep. Cant wait for next ep. this will definitley be one of the better shows for me this season.

Its finally here, I've been waiting for our couples cute moments to be animated. Op song is great art style is the same as manga. I don't think that voice fits Nasa but I don't mind it.

Wtf was that what did i watch, this was one of the most stupidest episodes i have ever watched, just imagine life being so random and illogical, you are a 15 years old kid you see a girl you approach her then got hit by a truck you don’t die but rather got saved by a 15 years old girl from a truck a fucking truck for god’s sake, you thank her and after one minute of talking you be like i love, and she is like oke lets get married. Sorry what ....

Story of a married couple that acts as your typical cringe teenegers in every teen romance anime ever ... So basically a dude meets a girl, he almost died chasing after her, then after that ruin his life full of opportunities looking for her ... is this another simp the animation ?

GOSH, they you denominate this thing a "cute romance"?
The romanticization of being an aggressive jackass, essentially catcalling a girl, but it turns out to be exactly what she always wanted, dreamed of, and makes her instantly not only fall for you, but be utterly devoted to serve your every want and need? Well, it's cool as long as we're screaming about how cute she is every two minutes. Oh, and how about a few closeups of tight sweaters and shots of her thighs in a skirt? I mean, as long as this is totally a romance and not some kind of trashy wish fulfillment fantasy with fanservice about an obnoxious, overbearing jackass and a manic pixie dream girl brought to life to faithfully serve his every desire.


I'm not sure what demographic this one is going for either, besides screaming people who want sex slaves, I mean. There's too much cacophony to get into any sort of soothing mellow going, but also zero dramatic elements or story to speak of. The jokes are only having lines occasionally screamed out. She's not even particularly cute. You could put the hazy bubble effect on a 56k modem and it would probably evoke the same response, not to mention be a source of fewer irritating noises.

Okay, this was fantastic! Funny, wholesome and eventful xD, I've been waiting for this!

Seriously, one of the top first episodes I've had the pleasure of viewing. I was on board from the get-go and now I need more.

"Tonikaku Kawaii", lost count of how many times the MC uttered those words lol.

I didn't know there was a late-night marriage system, by the way. Certainly does add up how celebrities would get it done with for starters lol but I feel like there's more to them of course.

Tsukasa-san is instant Waifu of the Season! Chizuru was great but I'm sorry it's a different game here.

The most adorable show this season is finally here! Nasa and Tsukasa are immediately cute as can be together. Nasa having to struggle with his weird name made me empathize with him. Much of the episode with him trying to figure out her name was really cool. You have to admire Nasa perseverance while dealing with such pain. The parallels to the princess kaguya story is interesting. Pursuing someone you love instead of giving up. I cam get behind that message for sure. Nasa absolutely pursued Tsukasa no matter what. I do wonder though how she took most of the damage from that truck and was totally fine. Maybe she's an alien or something. But probably not. Rest of the episode after the time skip was equally adorable. They're married!! How often you see that in episode one of an anime!! They do make an already cute couple. Nasa getting incredibly flustered. I'm excited to see where this cute married couple show goes.

This is going to be wholesome.

This was a really amusing start and I already like Nasa, his determination is refreshing. If it stays like this then it's surely going to be an enjoyable ride, that is to say, unless it turns into a harem xD Adding some harem elements would be ok, tho.
