Enjoyed it a lot.Felt amazing to finally watch a fighting anime that was about fighting and not about talking.The story and characters had minimal exposition, but everything still made sense to me.Not exactly an emotional show,but a treat for a martial arts anime fan like me,that loves to see a lot of sakuga fights.

Jin really went full Goku (Sun Wukong) there, kinda wished he would wish

So I guess it was the blondie all along who was the commissioner traitor, Jin should've beaten him after all!

Quite the weird series feeling like a mix of Fate/Persona/Jojo/Dragon ball and highschool tournament arc. This series definitely suffered from its bad pacing and lack of buildup as they immediately dived into the action causing the viewers not to care that much about the story and character and at times even be confused on what the heck is going on. Kinda sad considering this has quite the high production quality with its dope action animations and somewhat interesting premise (although the title was a damn lie).

At first, it was boring for me, but later it's actually look interesting, just it does seems rush since Daewi got his god power all the sudden... I mean, he is one of the main character... and no story how he obtained them? I don't mind if it has second season or not....

I really wish I could have enjoyed this anime more. The characters were pretty enjoyable and the setting was quite interesting. But it felt like I watched an 50+ episode anime reduced to 13. It was like a speedrun shounen :/ I really enjoy torunament arcs in general, but I really wish it had any sort of pre-story before it starts right into the battle. Anyways the animation was pretty good besides the red noses, which kept me bothering a lot. If there is a sequel I hope they take more time and gets more episodes as well. Besides all that it's a 7.3/10 for me

MY GOD THIS SERIES IS EPIC.

When I first starting watching yesterday I was mostly interested in the fights, but the series brought a lot more in these 13 episodes than I could ever imagine.

Charyeok, Seitan Taisei, The Key, development for a plethora of characters. backstories, the whole shebang.

I'll limit this to specifically this episode. This final battle was nothing short of absolutely fantastic. Seitan Taisei's power is just..... AWESOME. The effects and animation were spot on and the development of Mori Jin is obvious.

He was desperate to find his grandpa Taejin Jin, but along the way he's made a lot of friends and chose to make his wish to heal Seungah, her sister, and everyone else who was hurt from the final battle.

Now in the next part of the story they'll be heading to Seitan Taisei's homeland.

Little late but here my review, this was a big surprise for me at the moment, frikin amazing and so underated I feel like !

Amazing animation and fights, musics are so cool and catchy, characters too !

I really hope it gets a S2 (if not I'll read the webtoon because it deserve more love)

Bruh I feel for those poor animators at MAPPA. They had to make such a shitty show with such an amazing animation quality.

Finally, this sh*t show is over!

I really hope that the show planner and the director (and all the people who planned out how this show is getting adapted) should be banned from the anime industry fr. Really ruined this show. Had some potential tbh.

Great finale, essentially God vs God is the rise of the demon Jegal Taek vs the trio of Jin, Mira and Daewi, with their Charyeok in full strength. Mira being Dynasty Warriors' Lu Bu, and Han Daewi being relegated to a support character. Jin Mori finally unleashing his ultimate (not borrowed) Charyeok power he is the Monkey King Sun Wukong...

The director of this is show is the same director of Jujutsu Kaisen (S1 and movie) that you gave a 8, are you still sure you want to ban him from the anime industry? kkkk

I'll personally defend any anime on which people decide to gang up and hate on for no reason, but this anime, was extremely rushed. I didn't read the source material and even I can tell they skipped all the major plpt points in between every major event. I even forgot that white haired dude's name was and what his purpose in this entire thing was. All I know is this all happened because everybody wanted a key, their reasons for wanting this key? No clue. And somehow that blue haired dude turned into a good after absorbing it smh. No explanation, no character development, no build-up, no nothing just one fight scene piled up on another hoping people just "understand" it. At the very least, the fight scenes were good but that's about all this has going on for it. Disappointed,to say the least.

For me this anime was nothing more than an eye candy. Exceptional animation and fights, decent music and nice voice actors but terrible pacing and plot. The fights felt meaningless and superficial. The story felt rushed, extremely fast paced and uninteresting.I can say the same things about the characters too - uninteresting, easily predictable and one dimensional. They tried to force some sad feelings by adding some background to them but it was pointless. Wasted potential.

I wonder what the obsession with Sun Wu Kong is. We already have so many anime on him or based off him. Was really hoping to have an original God or have a not well known one. Fight scenes were sakuga as hell. Props for that.
