| I haven't finished the show as yet so I'm glad there aren't any spoilers while reading this thread. I'm okay with what I've seen so far and I enjoy it quite a lot. Soooo, it definitely got me excited when I saw that it's getting another season. |

| If I remember correctly it was in the top four most watched shows on Netflix Japan so that’s most likely why a season two was confirmed so fast. Also the manga sales surpassed 5 million so it was obviously going to get a second season whether the show was good or not, either way even though I personally didn’t really enjoy the show i’m glad a second season is coming for those that did. |

| How is it possible? Quite simple. Go look at the which romcom manga is popular at the moment. This definitely the one trending in Japan without much rival series atm. Japan running out of romcom to adapt. Gotoubun manga ended, Bokuben anime already hint what how the manga gonna end it. Same with OreSuki. Kaguya is out of the question since it's more comedy than romance. Do some research? or go read more romcom manga :o |

| It is literally the same as Re:Zero in terms of getting hate... Because Re:Zero was also hated because of his MC and this anime is also being hated because of the MC. but still both animes were a big hit and getting new seasons with good developments. |

| Idk, didnt even know the anime was that popular, I dropped it when it was airing but back then in 2019-2020 (don't remember when but it was early 2020 i think) i watched the anime PV and decided to read the manga, I found the story stupid as hell and many chapters were cringy asf, at least that was what i thought when I rage readed like 120 chapters (That was the last chapter that i found translated at that time), the series has something that draws you in, like it's so bad that it's addicting or something like that, people say that it will get better in this season but I see that they don't even listed the other girl in the cast so i'm assuming that they haven't showed her yet, and since she appears way latter, I'm going to tell you, It doesn't get better lol. I didn't even hate Kazuya, I hated every girl, except Mami, for keeping his delusion alive, specially Chizuru. In fact I thought that Mami was the only one with common sense despite the show painting her as a rotten bad person, at least she wasn't taking advantage of Kazuya. |
| it kind of had more potential. 1st episode really hooked me hard. but then it turned into multiple girls simping on a mega simp boy. But its still not like its really bad or anything. So i don't really mind. I know some absolutely horrible anime which got a season 2 (like The Asterisk War). So this getting season 2 is not really a big deal |
