See title. I'm referring to episode 12 in the anime.

Chapter 49. You can start from chapter 50.

You're question is answered I see, but I'd strongly recommend reading from the start again, it's so much better when you can see the subtle details.

Also the anime skips quite a lot of stuff.

Anime skips the Fish Kun comedy moments but other than that I don't think it matters.

The anime is a pretty literal adaptation but there are a few things missing and they pulled in a few things from later on and I recommend reading it. The biggest omissions, in my opinion, are (vague spoilers describing the omissions):

- More detail during the beach story, including the Pocky game that isn't in the anime.

- Kazuya's father seeing him handling money with Mizuhara, which leads to a scene that I think is fairly important later in the manga that the anime hasn't gotten to yet but hope they don't drop it entirely.

- All of Chapter 40 of the Manga, which is a bit of a filler story that they might adapt some or all of it in a future season.

With season 2 announced and the possibility of it being 12 episodes again, I can see season 2 ending at Chapter 103

Chapter 103 would be the perfect place to end Season 2 but they'd need 13 episodes to hit that at the same pace as the first Season (49 Chapters in Season 1 so to get to 103 would be 54 more Chapters) unless they cut some more of the story out.

They already pulled in part (maybe half) of Chapter 54 into Season 1 when they introduced Sumi. There is some important Sumi character background left but they could probably skim over that pretty quickly.

They skipped the set-up for Chapter 55 so I expect them to skip that whole Chapter in Season 2. It's a one-off Chapter like the Chapter 40, which was skipped in Season 1, and Chapter 28, which they reduced to an end credit montage. If they do, that will be disappointing because I thought Chapter 55 provided some important insight into Kazuya's character.

Other than that, I'm not sure what they can trim other than shortening some of the Sumi arcs like they did with the initial Ruka and Kazuya encounter, but hopefully they'll get 13 episodes for next season so they don't have to skip much.

Two other reason to read the manga even if you watched the anime that I didn't mention in my earlier reply is that Ruka's backstory, which is an end-credit montage in the anime, gets a full chapter and is a bit more fleshed out. They also shorten the initial confrontation between Ruka and Kazuya quite a bit.
