On another note though, why is your favourite anime KnK at 9 while there are 4 other anime you've placed at 10. You like KnK the most among all the anime in your list right? Because that's what 'favourite anime' generally means. Isn't your list supposed to indicate what you like more and what you like less? So why do you think there's a discrepancy there unless you're trying to act on your sense of 'objectivity' and flaws, over your own subjective taste. |

| not really, i also give 10/10 to some anime that are not even in my top 10 favorite, but some of my favorite anime are not 10/10, like Grand Blue, ReZero, The Promised Neverland, all Haikyuu seasons, Koe no Katachi, HxH and Redline, they are some of my favorites, but they are not quite a 10/10. |

| No, All my favorites are 10 and all my 10s are favorites, I rate shows with a mix of personal enjoyment and critical quality or whatever, So if I like a show so much that it's a favorite then it's subjectivity aspect is so high it transcends everything and reaches a 10. |

| If you go by subjective ratings, rating your favorites 10/10 makes sense. But in my case, my favorites can range between 7-10. It's not a matter of which is best, but which I liked the most despite it's flaws. After all, it would be bold to assume that my favorite animes are the best thing ever, where it can't be as good for others. | Favourite is about how much you enjoyed it while your score doesn't have to be. You could theoretically have a 6 in your favourites and have a 10 that isn't in your favourites. Currently my lowest scored favourite is a 9, but I also have had some 8s in my top 10 in the past. |

| Well it's not like I rate anime solely on the enjoyment, quality of animation, storytelling and execution also matter but what goes into my favourites is how much I enjoyed watching it, for eg- Vinland Saga is perfect 10/10 anime and it is hard to deny this fact, everything related to it like op, animation and the direction is absolutely amazing despite that its not in my favourite becoz i can't deny the fact that I got bored in the middle of the season, this is also the case for Steins Gate. |

| If youre trying to be completely objective when you score anime, then your favorite show definitely doesnt have to be a perfect 10. There are lot of shows that Ive rated a 7 that I may personally enjoy more than shows that I think are just objectively better. It's a "guilty pleasure" kind of thing with favorites. |

| Nope. Generally I'm able to tell if something is appealing to my tastes so I can distinguish if its my personal love of vs how good it is if that makes sense. I've got 10's not in my favourites and shows lower than that in my favourites |

| One Piece is my favourite anime but I haven't given it a 10. It has it's imperfections but my overall love of the show is more important to me then a score. I also gave Banana Fish a 9 when I wanted to give it a 10 for minor issues with the art style. It didn't take away from my enjoyment of it. |
