My first ever post-anime depression was when I finished Dr stone. It was about 2-3 days but I know why it was short because it was the first anime that I experienced post-anime depression ad now I can't wait for Season 2.(It was just Dr stone that I experenced post-anime depression).

Your lie in April and Metamorphosis.

Thank god the Josuke version exists for the latter. It would have been even better if it had been for YLIA too.

Tokyo Ghoul: Re part two.
I was so disappointed... It was my all-time favorite series, and this just ruined everything. I quit anime for about 3 months.

Catching up with One Piece feels like absolute hell. It's a show that I MUST binge. We're already about 48 episodes into Wano (would have been around 56-57 if not for the hiatus due to quarantine, but oh well...). I ended up just binge-reading the manga instead, which I am now 10 chapters behind and want to read but hold it off at the same time just because of how much I love binging One Piece!
I think Love Live! was sort of like this for me, as well, but not as bad, because I love the series beyond just anime, and is a multimedia series that tries multiple things more than one.

None. I enjoy each kind of emotion a show/anime gives me. I don't care about happy endings if ya know what I mean.

Mine was Anohana. I binged all 11 episodes while travelling through a train and couldn't make my mind to watch a new anime for about 1-2 week. I only rewatched the clips and felt emotional again and again

I literally quit doujins because of Metamorphosis lol, Jojo ending really helped though lol.

anime wise probably high school of the dead. I didn't know the creator died so when I looked him up in hopes to find a second season, I was really sad.

Devilman crybaby left me pretty scarred, and grave of the fireflies

Do you mean depression from a sad ending or the fact that the anime is over or the fact they ruined the anime???

Anyway I'm forever in Post-Gintama Depression because I haven't enjoyed any other anime as much and everything just seems kinda lame in comparison.

eva rebuild 3. it wasn't the "oh no it ended what do I do with my life now" type of thing. the movie disgusted me so much with it's 4th wall breaking memefest, FORCED selfinserting, unnecessary timeskip, "character development", stupid turn of events that has nothing to do with the story, that I couldn't bear to look at eva ever since, until last year.
I'm a huge fan of eva in general. it's the reason I started loving anime, and the reason I'm still watching anime in general.
now imagine all this love snuffed out by a tsundere+yaoi bait fanservice brainfart movie that doesn't go anywhere.

I think it might either be Death Note or Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Back when I watched Death Note it was my reintroduction to anime after not really watching any sort of TV for years, so watching it blew my mind and left me pretty empty for a while. Legend of the Galactic Heroes though just felt like a really long and fun vacation coming to an end. After 110 episodes I was so invested in the world and characters that it was kind of hard to believe that it was all ending, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I think the ones that gave me post-anime depression were Anohana and Kimi no Uso.
Clannad After Story gave me depression the whole time, not just after finishing it, the ending kinda made me feel a little better.

Gintama because I'd watched it as nearly a lifestyle for 5 months. I just rewatched the last 4 episodes like 5 times, then didn't watch another anime for a month. It took me 3 months to finally face the fact that I finished possibly one of the greatest anime of all time. I felt pretty strong withdrawal from Made in Abyss and Mob Pyscho 100 as well.

The movie was so good and so unique It drilled a hole in my heart that I can't fill to this day. I had to watch other movies like the silent voice to fill in the hole. They didn't but they gave me more depression soo yh

First dépression came after finishing all wmt series.

Second dépression appeared afterb Doremi, where I thought it could not get any worse regarding anime depression because of good characters.

Third depression arrived after I watched Maple Town and Palm Town that also added great character plus it made them animal cute too.

Screw you J Sato....

If you mean like depressed because it's sad then it's A Silent Voice. I watched it a few weeks ago and I still occasionally just think about it and feel really sad and depressed. That film really affected me for some reason - it was heart-breaking.

If you mean like depressed that it's over then Natsume Yuujinchou. I'm still sad that I've seen every episode, OVA, special, movie etc. of that franchise and there's no more to watch. I just love that anime so much.

True there is literally nothing in anime with a human animal hybrid that gives off the same beauty as wolf children as far as I know.

I mean there might be but yh

Symphogear literally gave me PTED. I'm not even joking.
I'm still, almost year later, completely frustrated due to injustice I have seen, when whore who murdered 100k innocent people for fun received undeserved forgiveness from the worst written Mary Sue in anime history. I literally binged the whole season just to see her being torn to shreds.
