How large are Blu Ray Changes compared to a TV broadcast usually?

As far as I know, blu ray changes are super minor (basically unnoticeable) in most cases with a few exceptions. Like mekakucity actors or monogatari, but I'm talking in most cases.

For an average anime and/or popular anime, what sort of changes can we expect?

And has there been any cases where a 2nd blu ray release has changes the first one did not? (Maybe I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain, a few anime have had multiple blu ray releases of the same season)
