| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not bad Yuuga. He managed to pull off some nice moves in his duel against that blonde guy. But most importantly, he trusted his cards enough to summon the right ones during the right time. He's improving every episode exceptionally when using that Road Magician. |

| And so the first arc of the series is over, and my only response is that I still can't believe how great it's been. The only spin-off that had a better first arc imo is 5D's and even then it's a close call. It makes me really hopeful for what's to come, having a fairly large cast of memorable characters most of which have had their roles cemented into the story up to this point. At first I didn't really want a serious plot from this show but after having seen the level of confidence and writing quality in these first 13 episodes I'm 100% ready to see how they'd handle it compared to previous entries. |
| I liked how the friends they met helped them prove Sevens Road's authenticity, and that duel was pretty cool. Royal Demons Heavy Metal is one cool monster! |

| Luke always inserting himself whenever that Kaibaman-looking guy talks about Yuga is pretty funny lol. I love this kind of comedic timing. At first I thought Luke was the rival but it seems he's more like the supporting role ala Joey Wheeler is to Yugi/Atem. Looks like Roa is the official rival. Honestly kinda refreshing to not have the antagonistic rival for once. Roa looks like a chill guy. |

And looks like our MC's main magician also comes with a dark magician girl (witch), LUL Too bad she didn't really do much and got squished... and then next we have the mage... So the Witch increase self attack, and the mage decrease enemy attack... |

| That's a neat idea, getting to watch a whole archtype come to fruition and fall into it's own. Neat episode for sure. |
