| That's uhh, a bit of a tacky wording you got there. I personally wouldn't call them 'comfort' characters because of the historical connotation of a similar phrase. I'm sure you know what I'm alluding to. Some wholesome characters I enjoy seeing are: Akari Mizunashi, Aya Komichi, Satou Mafuyu, Anne Shirley. |

| Elliot Nightray from Pandora Hearts. Every time I see him appear on any pannel, the first sensation he gives to me can be described as "someone more from the family". I guess Xerxes and Gilbert give me the same vibes too. To mention more characters, every time I see Gintoki, Kagura, Joker (Persona 5), Miyuki Shirogane and Yato, everything seems to be okay even if it isn't. |

| A "comfort character" to me means a pure-hearted and kind character, so I would go with Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket who is one of the nicest characters Ive seen in anime and often "comforts" those around her. She is someone I always wanted to be like. Eiji Okumura from Banana Fish is also a good one. Tada Banri from Golden Time is also that way sometimes. |
