Hitomi and Yuu are doing something different: they are growing in love with respect for each other. It shows how the author isn't falling back on old gags. Sure, the first chapter had him face planting her boobs, and early chapters focused on those legendary mammoth mammaries, but the focus is more on Hitomi as a loving, caring person, while at the same time, she carries with her all the insecurities of a young, teen girl. I'm waiting patiently for her to do the shy scene where she's practicing her English, and the phrase she tries to use is "I love you," but she practices it on Yuu, and she gumptions up and says loudly, "I LOVE YOU, YUU!!!" |
