Ok, let's be real, Japan is a country dominated by male and they have a weird fetish of having control over weak women. When it comes to hentai, it's never aims toward females reader (have a good looking male). The dom fm either overly cruel or out right abusive towards their partner or the male are resentful and ended up taking revenge. No, i don't want yaoi cause reading them makes me feel like i'm that creep who stalks on the couple.

I'm here, really looking for a manga (romantic) that has a genuine alpha/strong/smart female lead (not the type that acts tough, screams and yells but dumb af and ended up being save) she can be a bitch, breaks heart, be cold, idc. I need a character that's real and down to earth and would take the lead in the relationship if she wants to.

Is It Wrong To Get Done By A Girl?: Is a great example. Ever since i discovered this diamond block of a manga, i realized that there is almost nonexistent to have another with a similar premise.
Blood of madam Gissel: is really good
Lore Olympus: also have an amazing lead that act reasonable according to their background and can actually hold her self with out the help of a guy
Raise wa tanin ga ii: love this, absolutely 10/10 favorite female lead
Who made me a princess generally realistic and smart FL
Tale of Felluah: not physically strong but splendid at keeping her cool and social manipulation
Yumi cells
Some other Chinese imperial manhwa has amazing storyline with strong, calculating FL
That's to name a few (these took me years to find btw)

I've read a lot of self claimed "strong" female manga, but really though most of them ended up being dumb and need saving from a guy. Dude, this is 2020 women don't need saving no more, we do what we want, when we want and we have control over our life.

Technically r/l in Japan is the exact opposite. modern day Japanese men get depressed over every little thing(they would never survive even in the US, let alone places like africa, lol they have no idea what real stress is), and are more like robots, where as woman are more ascertive/outgoing.

However yea in manga and anime woman are portrayed as weak more often then not(got to cater to the fragile Japanese male psyche after all otherwise they literally kill them selves)

On to the suggestion:

Hanasakeru Seishounen(the art was greatly improved in the anime to make the characters stand out more, but otherwise the manga for this is pretty damn good, and she's very domineering. You can tell, she's use to getting her own way)

Moribito Guardian of the Spirit(this might only be available in light novel form, I don't know if you're ok with that or not)

Saiunkoku Monogatari(Haven't read the manga for this, but considering how awesome the anime is, the manga should be pretty good)

I have more parse, but they're not pushy about their obvious dominance, so I'm not sure if that counts towards what you're looking for

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check them out. I'm just really annoyed since i can't find any good romance manga that i could actually enjoy without wanting to punch the FL

Tbh, Japan's society still undermines female's role and are sexist in general. Like how womens are expected or wanted to quit their job and becomes a house wife once they're married or how it's extremely difficult for women to move up the ladders in major corporations. The Japanese entertainment industry are created by men and made for men. Hence the overbundance amount of Ecchi franchise or different depictions of weak and fragile women that needs men's protection (there's a reason why characters like Onoderra is no1 popular in Japan while Chitose is more favoured with the Western audience) It's exactly because they undermines women so much, they focus most of their attention towards the male audiences (full filling the male's sence of being strong and desired with shitty, straight out of the mold female characters or even the disgusting desire to have controll over a women through forceful raping or mind breaking hentai)

Of course, males in Japan are also under many heavy pressures cause of society forced upon roles that i can't list out since i'm not a man.

Oh you wanted more of a romance manga, only the first one I gave you is a romance(and definitely fits exactly what you want), then in that case you should also check

Victorian Romance Emma(Emma is a very strong female characters, just very reserved due to the setting. I rate this as the 2nd best romance, my top 1 romance Isn't available in manga form)

PS. I don't know how much that really effects things. Sure that is why ecchi, and fanservice is a thing, but lets be real, most of the best writers tend to be female. With how anime is tied to manga/light novels, I dout the anime industry being dominated by men, have all that much control over such things, generally speaking ofcourse.

Ecchi, and fanservice driven anime, have among the worst writing in the industry.

Chainsaw Man is a shounen action manga that has a few female characters that fit that description. Pretty much all the girls in it are strong and capable to an extent, and some of them are straight up pretty overpowered lol. The most prominent female character, Makima, is probably the one who fits the femdom archetype the most being a more calculating and ruthless type. And while the series is more action focused it does also explore the MC's relationships with a few of the girls. In pretty much every scenario it's the girl being the more assertive one.

This isn't a manga, but a webtoon/manhwa. I don't know of it's up to your liking or not, but I still wanted to recommend it since J really like the series, mainly because of the female protagonist. It's a well-written story too.

Cheese in the Trap

The story was told from the female protagonist's point of view, and the webtoon shows her thoughts and opinions about almost everything in the series. It's a romance and drama genre. She's involved with a male protagonist with strange actions and decisions, which endlessly making her questions his intentions throughout the series.

The other characters in the story mostly are a bother to her, causing her so much problems in her life more that it already is. The webtoon was really good at showing her character development, and the way she handles all her problems were all mature and calculative. Overall, she's not a damsel in distress, she does what she wants, when she wants and she has control over her life.
