And Israel awards a consolation prize to those who did not get the Fields medal (the Wolf Prize), so better keep it to increase the life expectancy of unlucky but great mathematicians. | A two state solution is impossible because for decades, Israel had advertised subsidized illegal properties for Jews, you know, the backward hillbillies that couldn't integrate into their respective countries' societies and want to find a nice piece of isolationist heaven on occupied land. What do you think, for people who moved out of their own countries, into the boonies of Israel, just so they could find solidarity with other Jews who have done the same thing -- you don't think they would be racist? Yes, Hamas once called for the destruction of all Jews. But the Jewish conservative openly thinks that daily, and all you'd have to do to convince yourself of that is to read the Jerusalem Post. Unfortunately, the biggest problem here is the enabler: the United States. We should simply stop supporting human rights abusers and this thing will end within a couple decades. Probably when the international community puts a trade embargo on their ass and their economy tanks to the level of the Palestinians, the moral high ground will give way to reality. |
