BNA was directed by Yoshinari and Franxx by Nishigori. This one is by Imaishi, so I definitely have high hopes for this one.

I'm hoping that it's going to be on the same level as Ghost in the Shell 1995, but it's obvious that I'd say that. My signature says it all, lol

Imaishi did not direct BNA and FranXX if that makes you feel better

but Imaishi usually do not direct serious sci-fi shows like this though so it can go either way

Imaishi is all about that wacky cartoon style of anime

Franxx was directed by Atsushi Nishigori not Amemiya, you are probably thinking of gridman

To be fair, Franxx is *barely* Trigger; it's basically and A1 series top to bottom. Trigger just did additional animation.

Also, BNA is dope.

BNA was pretty neat, but could have been better with more episodes/development - the rush in the ending made it a bit weird.
Don't mind me,
just passing by...

Bruh if there is no A-1 in the production this time, they just choosed the best for Cyberpunk 2077.

I don't think humanity can ever produce an anime as bad as FranXX, but considering Trigger it is certainly possible. Sasuga Trigger.

It's headed by their A-Team with Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill, and PAS) directing and Yoshinari on character design (he's pretty damn good in that regard) and with a solid IP, I see it going well as long as the story is grounded

In hindsight this pairing is kinda ironic, since both Cyberpunk and Trigger got hyped up by the community but dont really deliver in the end. Lets just hope this will be good. I havent seen anything I would call "good" from Trigger in ages.

Darling in the franxx is not that bad
the animation quality is top tier

Story? it has nothing to do with studio
Not to mention Franxx actually more like A-1+Clover works style tbh

but well Cyberpunk2077 is fuccing trash
No one gonna watch it

Animation will be good for sure. As was told, Imaishi is director so i think that we will have neat action.
Only problem could by in story and music. It would be best if they just do a copypasta from one of cyberpunk fathers.

I don't think anybody is expecting stellar storytelling from a game adaptation in the first place.

I cant think of many anime worse than Franxx so it would have to try pretty hard to be bad if it wants to top it.

Nah, with Imaishi as the director it will be more action oriented. If anything this will be closer to Stand Alone Complex
