I seem to keep creating double posts every time I try to post in a forum using Post New Reply. It happens on any forum thread I try to post a new reply on. Quick Reply doesn't seem to cause this issue though. Any ideas?

Edit: For reference, I am using Google Chrome on my laptop.

Mod Edit: Modified title for clarity and/or easier searching.

If you're having this particular issue, (double posts in forums), could I get you all to tell us some details about how you're accessing MAL when this happens? Things like the device you're using, your OS, what browser, and if you're viewing the site in desktop or in mobile mode.

e.g. PC, Windows 8.1, Chrome latest version, Desktop Mode.

This is not a bug I think. I used to do this by utilizing a slow connection and then I pressed the submit button repeatedly, after the connection was returned it could produce double posts or more without breaking fifteen-second warning.

I don't know type of chrome I'm using, it's definitely the latest version maybe.

@Tensho I just made a forum post and got some message that I can't post twice in x mins (I don't remember the exact words). I am 100% sure that I clicked submit once. Using Chrome latest version on Windows 10, desktop mode.

It's happening to me mostly on PC Google Chrome.

Has nothing to do with my connection but it occasionally posts twice, not too often but it's more than what I remember before.

This happened to me too! And it's kind of annoying especially when you're the one who's started the first post of the thread and yet, it's posted twice! I hope they're going to fix that soon.

I noticed the same issue in my case as well. When I post a post, I end up creating double posts unintentionally. I delete immediately the doubled post, of course, but I would like it to be fixed as fast as it is possible. It might become annoying at some point and well and spread chaos in a huge amount of threads.

Edit: lol, dunno why, but now it did not work (which is great) and this post did not become doubled.

All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

Hey, it happened to me again while I was posting a new thread 'Create New Topic', I clicked once, but it tried posting twice,

Other than this, it didn't happen again in messages & forum posts
