| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- After being delayed it finally come back. As usual there is nothing special after experiencing a break. Except for a few scenes that are indeed to convey information and a joke. I like it when Hina observes a squid and unexpectedly the squid emits ink, lol ... I feel bad for Hina. As always Makoto-senpai is happy when being praised, xD. |
| Well it took a while but finally a new episode. This girl heading out to shop for some clothing was nice tho the fishing part was great. Still fishing like that seems costly with all the lure getting cut of like that. |
| After 3 months of waiting due to Coronavirus, this slice-of-life heartwarming show is back. The flathead fish that Hina captured 3 months ago and cooked into a meal, the meal was SOOO LONG to say: "Thank you for the meal!" The Fishing Club girls goes shopping for equipment, and Hina might've carried a little too much money for treating jokes. Even the quiet Oono-senpai has concerns about size (er I mean boobs haha) that Hina nor Natsumi will be able to discern xD In order to be a fishing person, clothing sense is important (well, personally), but some things you just can't let go of to get it while it's still available, and that's so for Hina with her limited budget. To think that Natsumi, Oono and Kuroiwa would get Hina a welcome gift, that's very thoughtful (of course, Natsumi getting the bulk of the blame). After that, going "Eging" for squid. The technique's the same, while the set-up is different. While the beginner's practice for Hina is impossible to be practical, the teaching spirit from Natsumi is full of edutainment and occasional jokes. AND for the record, catching squid is NOT like catching fish, so more patience is needed. That's where Oono-senpai's expertise comes into play for a great effect. Not again, Hina...once with the flatfish and now the squid. Rather than the manga letting Hina try it out, the experienced Oono does it in her stead in the anime, which is a good change. Squid sashimi...is just too good. Welcome back, Houkago Teibou Nisshi. My heart is calmed like the ocean. |

| Finally we are back with Diary of our Days at the Breakwater. I just finished episode 4. The shopping trip was nice. This sure is a slice of life. Very laid back and predictable. But that’s why it’s so good because it is not too hard on the brain to keep track of what’s going on and we learn a little about fishing. |
| Oh yeah the fishing anime is finally back, she got a nice pink fishing jacket xD but with squid ink. The squid sashimi seems... weird, don't want to taste it to be honest xD |

| The fishing girls are back. Gotta love how laid back buchou is and her taste in clothes lol. Funny how hina reacted after finding natsumi's motive behind gifting her the hat. Ohno senpai is cool. She calmly catched that squid. Also love hina's reaction after eating ika sashimi. |

| Been waiting for this all day long. It's finally back! So glad it's back! We're here with more fishing, and while I'm not the biggest lover of squid, it's quite interesting to see how they catch them. |

| Finally the anime came back after while. I love the part where Natsumi bought the hat, so it can be difficult for Hina whenever she wants to leave the club. Then president is as laid back as ever, relaxing and watching the club fishing. |

| Glad to have this back! It was an entertaining ride, this episode. Shopping mart moments were just a great chill-pill and Natsumi buying the gift was really sweet of her (even though she'd ulterior motives quite clearly xD). Second half with the fishing was fairly entertaining too. Interesting movements to lure squids, I must say. I always thought it was the same for all the fishes, just that the baits were different. Ohno-senpai sure is a cool senpai. Here's to hoping there won't be any more delays for the show! |

| Hina learning about the clinch knot is such an adorable scene. Really glad to see this show back with the charming cast of characters. I love how this show adds in the comedic moments without going over the top. Ohno is also awesome and seeing the groupenjoy the food together is a celebration of their work. Yeah, I bet that squid is yummy. |

| Having this show back makes me realize that this season barely had any SoL (or at least, one that is worth) Ahhh, I really missed this show. Man, 240 USD for a single fishing jacket? Japan is awfully expensive xD. |

| God, how I missed this show. It's been way to long, but finally there is a new episode. Really nice to see, that it isn't just about the fishing itself, but also about everything around it. Too often a sports anime is just about the sport itself, but here we also learn about the equipment you need when fishing. The girls shopping for a jacket also really reminded me of Yama no Susume, Hina makes her choice mostly because she likes the logo on the jacket - which is coincidentally also a penguin. In addition to that it is really nice to see the other's decide to give her the hat as a present. The second half of the episode is then back to fishing, this time it's some kind of squid. To be honest, I have no real knowledge of fishing, so I was more focused on just enjoying the relaxing time. But even though I don't like things like squid that much, what they cooked from the squid looked appealing. And the new jacket already did a good job at protecting Hina from the ink. |
| honestly this show is quite top tier this season so i’m glad it’s finally back, kinda sucks that cause of the whole delay this show is probably going to be swept under a lot of people’s radar. |

| Great come back episode. This anime needs more love man it's such a chill and fun anime. Ohno senpai isn't even Waifu material, she's freaking WIFE material. Honestly I love all of them this anime is just wholesome. Also the art and animation is very detailed. Much better then other shows this season. |

| If the train coming in at the beginning of the episode really was CGI then it was really well done! Almost feels like bullying how they treat natsumi at times, a bit worrying. |

| God I fucking missed this show. I had no idea it was coming back this week. Been a long 3-4 months without it, but good to have it back. Finally some good anime. Really cute episode with the girls going shopping and learning to catch squid. I wish I had friends who would buy me a hat:/ This show is criminally underrated too. A 6.94??! For CGDCT??! When I go back to Japan for my PhD next year, tsurugiyama will be one of my first weekend trips. |

| Well hello there again. After a long hiatus, the series restarted again, and quite appropriate to this summer season. I'm glad we have this comfy and warm slice of life. It's quite enjoyable that the girls are bonding more and learning from this hobby of fishing. |
| So happy to see the anime is back. O/ Great episode and so relaxing to watch. Those shiranui oranges are good. That part let me remember that one time I was visiting Japan and some nice random person on the train with whom I got a conversation with started giving me al these shiranui oranges. Good folk. | Shopping time in the first sequence. Hina got a new jacket and cap that she wear in the ending theme song. How cute! Back to the fishing theme again, girls! Its a squid for this episode theme of fish! The technique, the basic start, and everything else still hold the same nice explanations like before. I actually pretty enjoying it, while in myself have such a difficulty to understand how that knot can even made so easily. Since i was pretty bad with that kind of craft. Lol. Atleast they were all doing a nice momentary. Its good to seeing them all having fun, like usual daily routines. Now Hina was not get any squid like before. Its Ohno senpai that saved the group came on an empty hand. An okay episode as a usual relaxation for me! |

| For the past few years I've seen similar CGDCT anime like Comic girls and After School Dice Club. while those two have something in it in the sense of making manga and board game, I can't say the same about this anime eventhough this time the theme is fishing, the characters are just really bland and not many personalities appear. I feel asleep while watching this. |
