| We have all seen at least one anime that has a moment when something hype happens and the opening starts playing in the background and it is always super cool. So which of these types of moments is your favorite? I have two the first one is the fight between Kaneki and Jason at the end of the first season of Tokyo Ghoul. That was one of my favorite fight in all of anime and the opening playing made it so much better. The second is the moment when Soma and Erina won the Team Shokugeki at the end of Food Wars Season 4. |

| Diamond no Ace Act II, halfway through the 4th cour of that season. It was the pinnacle of everything you (probably) wanted to see, the fruits of all the buildup, all in one moment... Go EXCEED (the very first OP from the first season) plays over quick flashbacks that lead up till that moment. That was SO HYPE!! I kept internally screaming and pumping my fists so hard! ... And that's the first example I could think of. I could probably find more if I thought harder. Like the oh-so-many examples from Gintama. |
| Honestly yes, these moments are really amazing every time they happen. One of my faves deffinatly has to be Kenichi vs Odin from Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple. This fight is so amazing when you see him using all the different techniques throughout the series and switching between the masters styles as they cheer him on from the side-lines. |

Man I was gonna say the same. It might not be "the best", but Railgun (and Railgun S) definetly had me hyped by playing the opening songs again throughout the episodes. I think Railgun S1 played them in episodes 12 and 24, while Railgun S had it (only?) in the 24th episode. Gurren Lagann doing it in the final fight was amazing as well, and while it's technically not the opening, pretty much every time "Before My Body Is Dry" played during Kill la Kill, I was just hyped up. |

| This doesn't actually work for me if the OP/ED song is playing for the background. But I will give an example in my opinion, ending Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou in episode 24 gives darkness and OP song also plays. |
