| Now this episode had it all: okama detective otaku, absurd festival about people celebrating pollution, two dudes who misunderstood the Blues Brothers and an armadillo who is actually a fish because you can used it against bank armored cars... I guess years ago one the screenwriters had this nightmare about not be able to think out an anime original episode for Detective Conan that makes sense, have written it down for some reason and now submitted it by mistake instead of the actual script. |

| Pretty cheesy episode, with an equally annoying taxi driver plus the dumb and dumber robbers. Hopefully the next one will be less campy. |
| I'm astounded. This ep was awful. The janky cuts, the non-nonsensical plot, the annoying singing gimmick?? There were a few times I had to re-watch a scene because the time-jump or position didn't make sense. The way Conan figures it out is mostly guesswork and it's irritating. It was animated consistently so it's not the worst DC ep I've seen, but it was pretty close. Sorry for the negative rant. This was a frustrating episode. |

| the taxi driver sounds like Taiki Matsuno, the seiyu of Hajime Kindaichi; if that's the case, it's some kind of cool crossover |
