Recently it was announced that the show was getting a new OP and song for its second cour. The song which is titled 無限の住人 武闘編 (MUGEN NO JUUNIN BUTOUHEN) is performed by the band 人間椅子 (NINGEN ISU) which has had connections with the manga dating back over 20 years with the release of their album 無限の住人 (MUGEN NO JUUNIN), a Blade of the Immortal concept album released in 1996 at the request of Hiroaki Samura (Blade of the Immortal creator) who is a fan of the band. That 1996 album will be re-released on August 19th.
