I absolutely love this training arc for TS. Now he has rinnegan AND byakugan abilities, oh and LASER FREAKING VISION. TS's training progression using the heavier metal hammer is apparently 2x faster than TH's back in the day, which I don't think surprises anyone, and his subsequent lighter wooden training seems to be nearing completion as well. Building a good foundation of control before moving in to practical dual wielding is the wisest move ever. I also love how they symbolized his "fight" against the waterfall with depictions of dragons clashing.

Now on to Oscar... having his hopes crushed just the previous episode, he quickly regained some semblance of determination -- to be the world's first offensive food spirit master (I assume). There are no rules that say you can't attack with sausages, right?? I guess we'll find out after the tough yet realistic 10-year promise made between him and RR. Even though the smell of a time-skip grows ever so strong, I'm just wondering when will we eventually skip to because I can't help but think about the different timelines that were put out (i.e. the five-year promise between the Shrek members to reunite, the four-year training period TH proposed for TS, and now the ten-year Oscar X RR promise. Not to mention we're currently unaware of the affairs in the Star Luo empire with MB and ZQ).

Next week's preview alludes to some spicy fight scenes between HLN and TS. Even though I think TS would be victorious no questions asked if it is a 1v1, but a part of me wants it to be spicier in hopes that my expectation gets subverted. I mean, what plan is the Spirit Hall plotting to the point that they needed to deploy their younger generation who also turns out to be their next in-line leader? I hope the justifications are good and not just "you beat me in a tourney and now I want revenge" sort of thing. I need the stakes to be high and yet reasonable at the same time.
