So we got a case about trying to find missing kids from this episode even as most of them came back. One of the kids remained missing so the case remains open for investigation. For such a serious case, this episode felt both heavy and lighthearted.

Now there's only one more episode left to go...

Welp, Ishikawa getting better is always a sign of concern, but his recovery isn't full yet, and his poetry mastering still hanging in the balance. To Kyousuke though, he's still worried for his detective of a "best friend".

A child kidnapping case, and it seems that multiple children are kidnapped but returned safely, lest for some worthy of "extraterrestial" actions that are worthy of being sacrifices. More like the villains are in it for the money.

NGL, one of the more boring episodes, even though there is a correlation ot things. Only 1 episode left, and really not feeling it...

I thought this episode would be about X, since there's only one more episode left. I can only suppose we will get a season 2 or else it won't make much sense. I mean, there's no way we can find out who X is and have Ishikawa die in 20min,it would be way too rushed.
Regarding the protagonist, I feel like that last sentence was maybe the only moment when Ishikawa showed how much he appreciates Kindaichi.
In 11 episodes we see Ishikawa falling in love (which seemed kinda out of nowhere - in my opinion, don't mean to offend), getting drunk, sending the only person who cares for him to jail even though said person is innocent... but I honestly never really saw a demonstration of love. However, the last scene told me that Ishikawa, in his own twisted way, loves his friend. But honestly? It's far from enough. I suppose til the very end we will watch Kindaichi doing the impossible for a self-centered friend.

This case was kinda bad. Also another female culprit lul. I guess the final villain will be the green haired dude from the OP.

Man, I'm not looking forward to the last episode, because it'll probably hit very hard.... Ishikawa looks horrible and the more he tries to put up a cheery front, the worse it feels. :/

Kindaichi is so pathetic that it hurts to see. Ishikawa of course hasn't changed and is still abusing Kindaichi's kindness, but the latter deserves it for being such a fool.

This episode's mystery was entertaining, but using the almost last episode with a filler is a too risky move. I'm pretty sure the green haired guy in the opening is that X dude, but I wonder how they're going to develop everything in only one episode. It'll be rushed af.

"Ishikawa: The reason I write poetry is to give those tiny, faint sparkles around me form, because I want to capture them somehow. And in the centre of those sparkles, was you, Kyousuke-san."

This is the first time Ishikawa says something kind and heart touching.

Another so so episode and a child kidnapping case this time which was not interesting at all. One more episode to go, hopefully we'll get a decent finale.

Kinda expected a big case to happen since this is episode being close to the last one. Pretty easy case and Kindaichi definitely asked the right question there on why they didn't call the police instead. Now onto the last case involving Accuser X
