| I've literally never dropped anything because of a single character being annoying... Ok, that's not technically true. I did drop Kurogane no Linebarrels because of the mc, but I eventually picked it back up because of my love of mecha anime. |

| Ok I watched the first episode of JJBA and I got so pissed off about the way Dio treated Jonathan who just wanted to be friends that I had to stop watching after a single episode and after a few weeks I'm just now considering getting back into it. |

| I actually really liked Zenistu. :( I also like Inosuke but I found him a lot more annoying then Zen. Nagisa from Assassination ckassroom almost made me drop it. Came across a bit too Gary stu for me. but I like Kuro sensei a lot so I endured his existence. Armin from AoT. So whiny and even when he stopped being whiny he was still able to be annoying Momonga from Overlord. So soooo dull |

| Ngl, I dropped Dr Stone because the characters were annoying af , the mc guy had no personality, the other guy did nothing but yell , and the humor in the anime was unbearable. I only got five episodes in so maybe it gets better. |

| I don't know if this counts, but Asta from Black Clover is the first character that comes to mind. When I think of a character, I think every factor is involved that makes up what the character portrays, including the voice actor. In the case of Asta, I just couldn't stop getting annoyed by the constant shouting or high volume talking. I understand that it's part of who he is as a character, but honestly, it just annoys the hell out of me and leaves me unable to watch black clover. It's just so high pitched and something about it is super irritating and cringy. Edit: Never mind, completely ignore this comment if read. I've started Black Clover and honestly, after episode 15, I got acclimated to his voice and his screaming. It is definitely worth it to continue watching. |

| A few years ago, when Daisuki.net was still around, there was an anime on there called Mama Is a Fourth Grader. I had wanted to watch it for a while, seeing as it was rather obscure, and I tend to like more obscure anime, so I decided to watch it. I came to regret it the second the main character's aunt, Izumi Shinohara, showed up. The premise is that Natsumi, a ten-year-old girl, finds a mysterious baby pop out of her TV one day. This baby is actually her child from the future, but currently, there's no way to send her back to her original time, so until they find a solution, Natsumi and her aunt have to take care of the baby, whose name is Mirai. I really wanted to continue watching it, but dear lord, Shinohara is such an awful character. She's lazy, entitled, irresponsible, continually causes trouble but never takes responsibility, and always tries to throw her niece under the bus over everything! Seriously, when a ten-year-old girl is more mature than you, you've got problems. Not only that, she refuses to do anything helpful and demands that Natsumi do everything for her, from cooking and cleaning to taking care of a strange baby. Why hasn't someone called CPS on this woman? So yeah, I wound up dropping the show because it always lets her get away with pulling all sorts of crap that IRL would get someone like her arrested. |
