| Music totally ruins the immersion for me and a big no for me. I have never understood how people are able to read anything while listening to music. For me, literally any kind of sound just ends up distracting me. That is why I love libraries the most, used to hole up in the library during my college days. |

| Always, helps set the mood depending on what I'm reading. Almost like making my own AMV, but with manga. Plus if it's just too quiet I don't like that. |

| Yes, almost always. If I don't listen to some music while I'm reading my ADHD brain is like: "we're just gonna wander aimlessly and not have a clue what we're reading". If I'm having trouble understanding what I'm reading in a certain part then I have to turn off the music and read out loud till I get it. I just put my playlist to shuffle and usually don't even notice what's playing. Sometimes my mind gets bored with the manga so I just focus on the music and take a break. Then refocus and block it out again once I get back into reading. |
