PV being nearly 3 minutes and giving us a spoonful of the Op is a really bright idea, if you ask me. Key Visual looks like a banger too. Split-cour, I imagine there'll be mixed reception to this but I seriously couldn't care less. Winter 2021 will just become better, simple as that. |

As far as i am aware, Arc IV was drastically reduced from the same amount of content it had in the wn to the ln. The First Season adapted the first 3 arcs up to volume 9, Arc IV is up to volume 15 which is 7 volumes and Arc V is up to volumes 19 which is 4 volumes. So that is a total of 10 volumes about one more than the first series. Hmm Well maybe it could still be just Arc IV, since i somewhat restrained myself from reading past Arc III due to this. Well we shall see |

They won't be able to adapt it properly in just 12 episodes without skipping scenes. Than is it possible they might adapted mostly arc IV but still leave out like the last quarter for arc V? Hmm even say each cour is 13 rather than 12 and that a lot of episodes skip the opening and ending to animated more content like they did with a lot in s1? |
| The anime being split cour doesn't mean arc 4 will just be 12 episodes they could still use all of cour one Plus 2-3 episodes of the second arc to wrap things. Yeah, 12 for arc 4 is too little, but 25 episodes are gonna be a drag hell and people were already kinda bored with arc 3 being 14 episodes and it was the same length as arc 4. They could use 15-16 episodes to do arc 4 and the rest for arc 5. Arc 5 is battle centric so it will take them considerably less time to adapt it. Season 1 already adapted 9 volumes so it's not an impossible task. |

| Thought the first season was really overrated. Subaru was annoying & cringeworthy and the female lead was boring. Rem was ok. Hope this is better |

Subaru being annoying & cringy was intentional and it was a big part of his character development. His character is pretty realistic (like an avg teenager), he makes mistakes (like all of us do) and slowly learns from it. Well it just got repetitive. And the average teenager doesn't behave this cringy. maybe his character improves later on. |

Having to wait is frustrating. But it's better to see a properly paced adaptation than a rushed one. I read the Light Novel volumes 1-9 and I feel they actually cut out a lot of stuff in Season 1, like few very important world-building related stuff, some Emilia characterization, and some important foreshadowing etc. Hence I'm hoping they take their time and adapt all the stuff from Arc4+all the interludes and epilogues into those 24-25 episodes. And i.m.o Arc4 ending is a pretty well-suited endpoint for season 2. Because . IMO It will be kinda awkward if this happens mid-season around episode 15-16. So its best to do only Arc4 entirely. And I have a feeling we will get a Season 3 announcement soon after Season 2 ends, which will most likely adapt Arcs 5 and 6. I'm really with you on this one. Just from reading the Arc 3 manga they skipped a few things (like stuff about Al) and it felt important. So even if the amount of volumes was suitable like @-ShadowClaw- said, I'd still want it to be like this. And YES, hopefully they announce season 3 as soon as we're done :). Even the announcement of a far-away season is fine. Just give us the announcement :P. And if it isn't obvious already, I'm sooo HYPED for this season!! |
