Seriously, a long anime like this which altogether spans almost 200 episodes and yet you hear the same few tracks on a cycle over and over and over again every single episode without fail.

The tracks aren't bad but christ couldn't the composer have at least made some music for the show? It blends all the episodes together.

At least the tracks aren't bad, a bit generic but tolerable. There are worse examples out there. Imagine hearing the crapiest track of the show twice per episode for 50 episodes *cough*macross 7*cough*

Actually for all three seasons there were like 150 tracks composed. Around 100 for the first two seasons and another like 45 or so for the third. Some were used more often than the others and some stand out more but if you pay close attention I’m sure there are like 10 different tracks used in a single episode. I never counted though.
Sure Sawamura’s theme stands out a lot but well it’s kinda the theme of the whole show after all.

I'm very late to this but I think it's the side effect of main theme, like in Yowamushi Pedal it has Onoda theme as main ost and My Hero Academia has You say Run as main theme, and there are like several soundtracks that are variation of main theme, make you think that it's the same song but it's not

I really fell in love with the tracks of the anime and I am actually glad they didn't change it, in other animes they have very good tracks then they change them to others that aren't as good, I guess it comes down to preferrence

You're not wrong, those tracks are some (if not *the*) most common. Given that these are for matches (which comprise the majority of DnA screentime) that's not really surprising. Try this:

Try looking for Diamond no Ace Best Soundtrack on youtube, or individual songs on Spotify or whatever - there are quite a lot of tracks you hear often. Close game in buildups during matches, Survive! in training situations, Last possible moment in pinches , before the climax, etc.

Also, not only Sawamura has a distinct character song when he's on the mound, but there's Windy zone for Furuya, and King for Narumiya - just off the top of my head.

I know that this wasn't part of your original statement, but consider also the extras, such as character songs (I really love the ones for Furuya, Haruichi, Ryosuke, the two Kominatos together, Kuramochi and Kawakami), openings (this show has really good openings), and endings (especially Cloud Nine and Blue winding road, sung by the cast), as well as ones like Neraiuchi, adding to the millieu.

For me, the OST adds a lot to Daiya and never gets either intrusive, or overly repetitive. It's just an inseparable part of the atmosphere.
