Bastard, but it would be quite hard to capture the same feeling as the manga

Also, Tower of God (But better)

None of my favorite manga have anime adaptations and I guess they never will for a variety of reasons, so I won't even mention them. I'd rather mention Homunculus; I thought it had an anime adaptation, because the manga is of high quality, popular and, in my opinion, is quite suitable for an anime adaptation that could very well be successful.

chainsaw man, nagatoro and hige wo soru still don't have anime, but it was confirmed that they will have so I don't know if they count.

yofukashi no uta seems quite good to me and it does not have an anime adaptation, although the truth is I would like it to have one (with a good animation, of course), although I see it unlikely because I think it is very little known

Punpun, Real and Spirit Circle as part of my top favorites, but I'd also add Dead Dead Demon and Solanin from Asano Inio and Sengoku Youko from Satoshi Mizukami. Homunculus and Innocent are p good, too.

Oh boy, where do I even start with this one...

Komi Can't Communicate.

Some say that an anime adaptation wouldn't work for this series, due to how little Komi talks, but I don't think that should stop it from getting an anime. I'd love to see Kyoto Animation do it, but if someone else animates it, I'll still watch it.

Punpun by far, though it is the only I've read without an adaptation. Though I don't think much it will lose its spot as the top for a while.

If I was feeling like a hipster, I'd say Tsukiatte Agetemo Ii kana. That'll likely never happen, though, as the romance is too serious and not cutesy enough to get adapted. Also, it begins with characters getting together. Anime companies love to play safe and have them do that in the last five minutes.

An Uzumaki series would be cool, or an ova of the horror piece, Hideout. Rumspringa no Jokei would be incredible, as an absolutely beautiful, heartfelt BL romance set in America, focusing on an Amish boy. You just don't see stories like that come out of Japan much, you know?

Otherwise, yeah, Punpun might be nice, but I feel like it would be horrible trying to adapt its unique style to anime without some serious love for the project on the studio's end. Like, you might end up with A1 pictures doing it, and end up with their usual mediocre hackjob they make of everything they touch. Or worse, you might get the clowns who 'blessed' us with Berserk 2016. Imagine them making the only Punpun anime we'd see for decades to come. Sleep tight.

It started a year ago, so there are only 27 chapters yet, but it's great (very similar to something like Kaguya-sama). Absolutely worth reading.

Gonna mention Manhwa since TOG got an anime adaptation so that's definitely a possibility: Bastard, Winter Woods and Annarasumanara

For me, it would be Koko wa Ima kara Rinri desu or Yomawari Sensei.

Both of them are based on teachers trying to teach the value of life to their students, a very heavy and thoughtful mangas.

Just to name a few:

Boy's Abyss - probably my favorite right now, but don't think it'll get an anime adaptation unless they remove the smut and/or censor the crap out of it.

Himegoto: Juukyuusai no Seifuku - Same author as Boy's Abyss, but this will never get animated as the smut is 100x worse compared to the former. It's borderline hentai with nudity and sex in almost every chapter

Alice in Borderland - Apparently it does have an OVA and netflix adaptation, but wouldn't really consider that a real anime adaptation.

Kasane - This one would actually be really good for anime if executed properly

Chi No Wadachi - Think this one is probably gonna get butchered if it gets animated, so better stays as manga only

Oshi no Ko - Akasaka's other project, this will probably get animated once it gets more chapters

Witch Hat Atelier - Think this would get butchered, since the manga art is what makes it good

Sundome is amazing. A really interesting blend of borderline hentai ecchi content, mid-2000s era zany, perverted comedy, psychological-drama and a surprisingly emotional romance. If you like weird dramatic ecchi manga or you're really into femdom, this could be the manga for you.

Mine currently is Chiisai Nozomi to Ooki Na Yume. I think the kinda weird plot of a high school girl waking up shrunken in an older NEET woman's apartment is what maybe will hold it back from getting an anime adaptation.

Whereas the author's other two works in Hanayamata and Dropout Idol Fruit Tart were straight-up Slice of Life and easier to adapt.

But then again who knows maybe a production committee will take a chance on it.
