Hello! Same as most people here, I'm not used to forums, this is my first and only forum on MAL I've been apart of and so is important to me. I haven't been active on here, but as soon as my coursework deadline is passed in a week, I'll have 4 months just to sit back and relax, meaning I have all the time to watch anime and interact with this forum (which I hope will be a lot).

Hope everyone is staying safe in this trying time, not being able to go out and socialise, although I'm sure for most of us were isolating before the current circumstances and are pretty used to it. I hope we can all get along and maybe make some new friends! My PM is always open!

Nice idea XD I am 45, female, living in Austria. Favorite anime would be Mononoke, but I do watch pretty much everything and Bleach has a special place in my heart XD - favorite Manga is Shokuryou Jinrui.
I am personally socializing a lot more on discord, but I think the forum and club is a nice platform too for exchanging thoughts and/or recommendations with fellow club members, so I'm gonna try to contribute here more as well XD

Well... first of all Hi! I'm 15 years old , I'm from Germany my favourite Anime are Gintama, Vinland Saga and FMAB. And my favourite Manga are Beastars and Haikyu!!

Sound really good... I'm from Chile (I didn't even know if anyone know my country but yeah XD), 16 years old, my favourite manga is Alice in Borderlands and my favourite anime is Jojo and FMAB. I also like pkaying videogames a lot, in that case my favourite videogames are the Soulsborne games, the Persona saga (specially Persona 3) and also I like the Danganronpa games (I like so much the V3)

Ohhai to everyone! Thanks to @etekusat for inviting me here.

As for activities to revive this forum, maybe weekly discussions on anime themes will help. Maybe a discussion about a show for those who have watched it, or maybe general themes. Etekusat, maybe you can post those IRL activities that you planned and perhaps the group can translate them into online-only activities, ne?

Anyway, for my introduction! Please call me awpdog (or just awp), 26 years old, Filipino, and currently a university instructor in hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. I just restarted my anime addiction since last year thanks to my IRL Best Girl and because of Kyoukai no Kanata. I don't have a particular favorite show but SoL and romance shows is my cup of tea; if I were to indeed name one, it would be Yorimoi (A Place Further Than The Universe).

When I'm away from watching anime and reading manga, I'm playing the piano (with mostly anime songs) and play strategy games. I also read nonfictional books: currently I'm stuck reading this book about military intelligence.

I see we are trying to revive this ,ok i will too intruduce myself,as you can see my name is Winter_Abyss but anyone can call me whatever they are comfortable with now for age i´m 20 for the rest i´d rather not tell for now,Favourite manga and anime its hard but if i had to nail down to a few it would be Toradora, Rozen maiden and noragami, and i love almost all genres.

Good to see this trying to get revived, anyways I'll introduce myself, my name is Jack, I'm 17 and I'm from the United Kingdom, I love a lot of anime, but my favourites is Sword Art Online, Darling in the Franxx & probably Infinite Stratos. I like a lot of anime revolving around Mecha, Ecchi/Harem, but currently I am watching Plunderer which I am very much enjoying, if anyone has suggestions, throw them my way :)

Maybe you could create the discord server first and then ask for help regarding bots ? I know nothing about discord or bots, but a quick Google search suggests this recent link (March 2020) where they claim that creating a discord server is simple:
