| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This show still continues to deliver top tier entertainment quality. We also of course got the slice of life elements of making manga. I just find this episode very appealing that they're able to combine the storytelling and themes together. Hoping to see Hime show more of her art skills as she definitely has a lot of talent. I want to see her succeed in the future tbh. Great comedy as usual  |

| Time flies so much it’s absolutely unreal. Can’t believe it’s another Thursday and time for another episode. God I hope this doesn’t get delayed The boxes 😭 😭 VE episode 10 flashbacks intensify The character names in his manga seem like a Panty and Stocking reference lol Nadia is making a push for best girl in only two eps. The fortune praying scene was hilarious “We have a really powerful spirit watching over us” ugh please don’t make me cry Sensei and Hime’s friend’s misunderstanding Kakushi’s actions is so funny 😂. Miscommunication is really the theme of the series so far. Another great episode. Got more of the humour and interactions that make this show great |

| Pt 1. Hime is rather an embarrassing name than nowadays stylish names. Pt 2. ok, soft harem is one of the main subjects of the show, isn't it? |
| Everytime I feel like I watch an episode of this, I expect to dig this mentally, but just can't connect with this show on a comedic level, emotional level nor with its narrative itself. It feels so awkward watching this show for me cause I just can't get over not enjoying this when I feel like it has the elements to get me - from references, to absurd comedy and relatable interactions. But it's like a knockoff version of each when watching this. Another meh episode but at least some background details were provided here I guess. Still not the worst show of the season by any means, but still underwhelming as hell so far. |
| As the now grown-up Hime discovers more of Kakushi and his mangaka habits, I have a solemn feeling of Hime knowing the truth, shot by shot. OH SHIT, geting cued by your oun daughter about fortunes, and missing the shot on artistic skills. That was sublime. And the whole naming scheme...it chuckles. A pen name to hide his identity for Goto-sensei (to which his name has been smeared across those who known his work). And then Hime and Nadila at home doing rituals? Hilarious! With Tomaruin getting sucked in...he's definitely not coming out of that rumor alive, albeit being brainwashed for that moment. The 2nd arrow aiming at her own dad's drawing...he's er...slightly above average, haha...the manga monochrome world can't be compared to one with colour (to regain Hime's pride). And with one of the women from last episode's unconscious harem teaching him...whew whew! And then Hime's requisite of an art homework from her teacher...Goto-sensei invites her out while dragging Hime for some father-daughter bonding time of sketching (and some evidence). Totally lost it when children with small minds can think TOO FAR, that was just simply too funny. With this, Kakushi has got a good idea forwardng his manga. And the memories of family...can't be canny, but as the saying goes: like mother like daughter. The 1st episode I've genuinely connected and enjoyed a fair bit. |

| The comedy hasn't lost it's touch. The references and the situations were Goto gets roasted are still as funny as at the beginning. Poor sensei also feel victim this time, children have no mercy xD Nice episode, the part with the drawing and the flashback was especially emotional. |

| Man, this show is just gold! I'm loving the Comedy but the fitting emotional and touching bits thrown in here and there are really stepping up the game here, in my opinion. Hime-chan's monologues at the start were fabulous like the usual, that's Rie Takahashi for you. And that whole second half starting from the zoo was just fantastic! Some more great Comedy in the manga workplace xD and a nice cameo from Nadila-san. Editor wooed from the get-go and "CEO" were simply ridiculous, lol. Interesting that Goto-sensei has an alias, how did I not see thing coming though? Meanwhile, his harem is gaining ascendance by the episode lol. Poor Sensei and some glorious scenes of Hime-chan's classmates. "We'll behave properly from now on to make her happy." - lmfao. |

| This show can go from wholesome to sad in a second. The whole episode was amazing, from Hime fortunetelling their names to Goto going to art class and taking Hime to zoo. Also Sensei cant help but pick up chicks with his every word... |

| Great episode again and the comedy is top notch. Guardian angel watching over them. T.T Hime says the most wholesome stuff but at the same time the most heartbreaking things. :( The stuff with Gotou and his art being manga like, his background and animal drawing skills was hilarious. |

| Has it been discussed already that the ending song is actually an old Japanese pop song from the 1980s? Considering that the singer died several years ago, it makes everything even more bittersweet. I find the ED absolutely beautiful, it's everything I like combined, bright colors, upbeat but somehow slightly sad song, nostalgic summer feeling. Visual style of this anime in general is so great, I dig it. |
| That was such a nice idea at the end; imagining that Hime's picture is from the point of view of her mum, watching her and Gotou having fun at the zoo. The part with the babysitter and Gotou's editor was so funny! I hope we get to see more of the two interact because it's definitely an interesting pairing haha! |

And yeah the style of this anime is really great. I was originally disappointed that Shaft wouldn't be animating this, but really I've loved all the artistic choices so far and it's probably going to be AOTS for me. |

| These seems to be a series that has a really nice plot. She realize that they were poor and she start getting concern. While in reality the main guy is a famous artist and make bank but he lives a simple life. |

| Cant say that this anime makes me laugh tons... But, at least the laughing is real... Also, most of the things i see in each episode in this series are funny and/or happy... but i always end with this "sad feeling".... Is this going to have a sad-twist-ending-plot? |
| I want to see more of Goto's wife, Hime's mom. She seems like a great person, a lovely wife and mother. Wonder what happened to her. Though it was somewhat funny, I don't get the thing Nadila was doing and I'm Indonesian lol |

| I'm sticking with it for the lovely heartwarming moments, but honestly, the comedy's starting to drag a little. At certain points I start wishing Kakushi would just tell the person "no!" and avoid the misunderstanding. I think it's a really cheap kind of comedy. |
| This series is incredibly good at switching gears! It can seemlessly transition from an enjoyable comedy experience to a heartbreaking slice-o-life. Every week it brings a light-hearted episode to its watchers which is commendable and being ⅓ of the way through now we are poised to most likely continue at this extremely comfy pace. Also why do single dads gotta get the ladies?? |

| Another great episode. The comedy is consistently funny. Sensei is super cute, makes me wish Kakushi would ask her out. Hime is such an angel and her drawing was perfect. But the ending hits you pretty hard. Really makes you think about how fleeting life really is, and that the time we have is short. I still have my fingers crossed we'll get a happy ending. Hime deserves it. |
| Wonder if the few hints of potential romance will have a major role later on or it will be used only for laughs. Anyways, sweet episode overall. Really liked how well the transition between comedy and emotional scenes was handled. |
