| bloody hell mate i only made it to 5mins before i had to stop and check what the hell was going on, i thought it might've been due to covid but i figure'd they would already pull the plug like most shows and i mean it never look great but god damn it we reached "how on earth did they let this air" level of quality turns out they didn't and it was on the end of the wrong version funi got. so i guess we can embrace this meme episode as a look into what some of the production looks like before it's actually done lol |

| My favorite part had to be at 12:26 to 12:32 when Tama tells Yomi about how much fun she's having. The first cut her mouth isn't moving for a full second, and the next thing you know, it's moving so fast it's blinding. Though, I dunno, those jelly legs when the batters swing are pretty awesome too. I have to wonder whether Funi released it "by mistake" to help everyone get a good laugh today. |

| OH GOD the animation went back to being Episode 1 levels of just chicky-bad. It was definitely all over the place. And the OP/ED shots are mostly changed. | I watched first the broadcast version and I'm glad I did. Still, the animation is still quite bad, but still... The version that FunAnimation brought out made me wanted to make stab my eyeballs out. Why does FunAnimation still exist at this point? FunAnimation is a fucking joke. |

| Okay, I was also kinda stubborn when all the low-key Funimation version grotesque pictures started to appear, but finished the episode anyway. So a first pitching duel, huh. And not only for Yomi but for Asakura as well although she's the clear #1 of the rotation. Shout out to both Ibuki and Nozomi for playing till the end. |

| I never complained before, but why at several parts during the game, people looked severely deformed? Watched the crunchyroll version. Is there a better version of this episode somewhere? Losing is ok, it's a practice game. What's important is the experience that they gained from this. Yomi is getting better, and she earned the respect of the pitcher of the other team. :) EDIT: going to rewatch with the ATX version. |

| Watched ATX version episode 4: Much better than the Funimation version vomit I've seen last night.. Overall, they did well against a team they were not supposed to beat yet. Yomi start losing confidence on remembering bad experience, but Tama cheers her up again. If Asakura had not come into the second half, they actually have a chance. Akiko getting lucky with that last hit, allowing Nozomi to bat.. she hit it, but unfortunately not enough. Ugh, no more of that Funimation crap please. Not asking for Priconne level of animation... I'm a simple man, not hard to please.. just keep up the quality that this episode has, and I would finish this anime to the end. Would even buy something from it as support, I have the extra money :) |

| I'm someone who is generally oblivious to bad art but if someone like me can even notice it, then something went very wrong, saying it'll be fixed in the BDs is not enough of an excuse if you ask me. At least we now know they can compete at a decent level, i really liked the dynamic between the 2 opposing pitchers and with their ace getting cold feet and messing up, its trying to do some nice things but the art is not making it easy to concentrate. |
