For me it would be saenai heroine no sodatekada. It was just dry and the only good thing about it was the senpai who writes novels and stuff.

@fatboyftw would call it infuriating instead of boring, but Dr. Stone would have been dull for me if I didn't watch it with him. Watching him get worked up over animu science was most of the fun, we didn't even get past episode 6 before giving up. :D

Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta

The first few episodes I was fine with, but after like 3 I fell asleep like 4 minutes into each episode so i just dropped it. I was happy that I didn’t like it though because the way they did the lips was the most annoying thing in the world because it looked like they put the lips on upside down

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken is a recent one that I found fairly boring and sluggish. Not saying it's bad, just I had to force myself to watch it.

Not my kind of anime for sure, slice of life in general is poopy.

Season 2 of Spice and Wolf.

Felt like too much of a rehash of the first even in terms of dialogue, introduced irrelevant side characters for 2-3 episode mini arcs which you had no reason to care about yet took up the whole season, and then to top it all off the season ending on a cliffhanger with nothing meaningful resolved or advanced for the season or the entire series to this day.

Try Knights. I couldn’t with the animation and the characters all just seemed bland. It felt as though they were forcing the “borderline gay sports characters” trope, or it could just be my fujoshi brain overthinking shit.

Soul Link, easily.

It takes place aboard an space station hotel that's taken over by terrorists and the responsibility of liberating the station falls within two highly inexperienced cadets that didn't manage to escape the station on time.

Sounds awesome.

It's not.

Natsume Yuujinchou and Mushishi for me.
Not saying they are bad in any way. Just waaaay to slow paced for me and Natsume seems to be created for a very young audience, I can't relate at all, dropped it.
Mushishi was interesting, is on hold for the moment - if I ever am in the mood for sloooooow I am gonna pick it up again.
In general most sad for the sake of being sad shows are boring for me, as are CGDCT, that stuff just puts me to sleep.

To each their own.

The most recent was Runway de Waratte. Everything about it was so boring and lame.
And I'll never get tired of mentioning ReLife, I just hate it so much. If hell exists - they only show ReLife there.

Errybody just naming shows that are at least passable by some standards when you've got stuff like Piano which really made me reconsider what 'boring' truly meant.

Slow, subdued SoL is right inside my wheelhouse but even I was floored by how boring this one was.

Maybe I have the attention span of a small rodent, but slow subdued SoL is exactly the genre I find the most boring and actively avoid.

Two examples I have dropped are Girls' Last Tour and Tanaka-kun.. they're cute but not my cup of tea.

Probably the same for me. It filled in and followed all the isekai tropes it possibly could follow. Literally used it to help myself fall asleep at night.

Right, Evangelion is the one I absolutely had to force myself to finish it. God damn what a slog that anime is. The only idea well-done was the setting itself, while the execution and all the rest was subpar.

Alright, so these titles are the ones I have completed and not one of the dropped ones. But can I just say that Amatsuki was boring as hell? Great cast, but I honestly don't remember seeing it. Another one would be HaruChika (I can't bother typing the full name.) Otherwise I love slow-paced, slice-of-life anime, it's really enjoying for me, but this shit.. nah. I can't-

Yomigaeru Sora: Rescue Wings. Boring in every sense from the animation to the characters. There's also more dull brown in this show than an old-age home which doesn't help.

-1 Honey & Clover -- dropped after multiple "on-holds". So dry that I had to write the character names and their room numbers down as reference because none of the characters stood out enough to even remember their names. Didn't help: dropped after putting on hold about 3 times but I finally gave up.

-1 Aria -- from around episode 5 of Animation to between around ep. 18 of Natural I must've nodded off 20 times. But then the last 8 or so eps. of Natural the writing improved massively and the rest of the franchise got 8 scores from me. Go figure. Hands down Natural was the most boring thing that I actually managed to complete. I think some compensation or else a medal is warranted. I mean, I loved the characters and the music and the visuals but visiting St. Mark's Square 10 times (as cool a place as it is) I mean c'mon there was a whole planet of possibilities for stories but noooo, we need the girls to pole their way to St. Mark's Square again...

-1 Clannad -- especially Fuuko arc (ironically my fav character). Completed but I never trusted MAL scores afterwards.

-1 NHK -- yup; dropped.

-1 Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight -- and by extension most of Mawaru Penguindrum and Yuri Kuma Arashi had my eyes glazing over multiple times. Ikuhara should have stopped at Utena (sure it was unfathomable but it was entertaining unfathomableness :) Revue wasn't by Ikuhara but it was by one of his disciples. I completed all these but it wasn't pretty. At least Yuri Kuma had a great finish.

Air -- boring and to ensure the experience is miserable as possible they threw in a downer of a conclusion just to make sure. Completed it.

Dishonorable mention to Endless Eight arc of Haruhi (anger plus boredom). Otherwise (mostly) everything else about the franchise is pure gold (especially the movie).
