I mean seriously, it's a nice representation of team spirit. Looks like more practice this episode and the show is at the half way mark. And importantly, I feel like some of these guys really want to show what they've been training for. Some of the gameplay in this episode's match already got intense. |

| The animation in the new OP is kinda lazy, just a bunch of still frames, but I kinda like their artistic style. I think they captured the atmosphere of the first game pretty well. The feeling of nervousness and overwhelming presence of the enemy, those are perfectly fit for a first-timer. |
| We are half through the series and the road to inter-high starts with Sora's team participating in their first tournament. Their new jerseys and t-shirts looked badass. The team is off to a rough start being nervous in their first tournament, but Kite was able to snap them out of it. I like the new OP as it captures the tournament arc. It might take me awhile to get used to the new ED because it is sung by the voice actor for Kaname. |

| New opening is great again. Like the song and visuals. Was a nice set up episode and start of the match. Everyone not being able to sleep and the rivaling teams making a short appearance was funny. My man Kite was fire. But no matter who's going to lose, probably gonna be sad. |

| OP3 & ED3 watercolour visuals are so pretty & they match other & so much hype! What a far cry from the amount of dead stills this anime uses hahaha ED by Mamo wooooo Omg when they all turned up early to practice. I can’t get enough of Momoharu & his glasses. And when Nao bumped into Tobi looooool & Kaname’s “𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣” lmaooooooo I love this bunch Tobi is THE man!!!!!! Also, damn Takashi. He’s just like Sousuke from Free, appearing & trying steal everyone’s heart. |
