[CLOSED] Your Challenge is Invalid: Special Edition

　The Anime Watching Challenges Club was founded on February 3rd, 2016. On March 21, 2016 our club creator, Riho-san, made the first turn-in thread so that everyone that completed one of the very few challenges we had back then could turn them in. After all, we only had 18 challenges and a few series collections back then! (A cookie if you can guess, without checking, how many challenges we currently have).

　Our staff team, with the passage of time, had it ups and downs. Especially the Inspection Team. As many of the members that have been with us for a while remember, the inspection process was stalled for a bit longer that I would have liked. Many things that don't need to be mentioned were going on, BUT!!!! one day Imyreld offered to help. She wanted to push things forward. She first joined as a regular Inspector and after some time and effort, she took a step forward. She became the Inspection Team leader, brought change, got new team members, trained them and now all of them have made a tremendous effort on trying to catch up to more recent turn-ins. This includes the senior inspectors.

　I know, I know it's a current joke among some of you about how you will have to wait a year for your challenge to be inspected. Please be mindful of those things. These volunteers are doing an amazing job and soon enough the wait will be at most a few months, who knows... (months cause what if we reach 50k members? fufufu). The current Inspection Team is very motivated and giving their all to inspect as many challenges as they can as fast as possible. We are very thankful to everyone that has showed support and patience with us -- Thank you. Thanks to our members and special thanks to our amazing Inspection Team.

Fun Facts:
— Previously, all challenges had to be manually filled out and there was no real external tool to help inspecting them.
— The Hall of Fame was opened for public use on August 14th 2017. It was created some months before that by our great Jhiday.
— The first turn-in thread was closed on August 18, 2019, since it had passed the max cap of 10k posts per thread. It had 10,109.
— By March 21st of 2017, the first thread had 3,355 replies. The validating gap was about 7 months.
— By March 21st of 2018, the first thread had 6,605 replies. The validating gap was about 1 year, 8 months.
— By March 21st of 2019, the first thread had 9,020 replies. The validating gap was about 10 months.
— The first turn-in thread was fully inspected and completed on February 26, 2020.
