| People are watching this show too much in negative light (thanks to early episodes) that they don't realize Abyss demon being a helicopter unlocks so much possibilities and potentials in all story aspect, development and worldbuilding. Now the plot isn't within a mere isekai fantasy anymore. The author can do whatever creative shit he wants now. Futuristic setting? Science vs magic? Two worlds interaction or culture exchange? War is bad? Time travel? Past vs present? Anything. You name it. It'll all depends on Suu's creativity now. Sure, the execution is not good enough so the reveal seemed more like a comedy like "Voila! A fucking heli lol" but the message it wanted to send is as the same tonal shift and vital plot point as AoT's basement reveal. |

| What is this abysmal show???The tonal shifts in this show is beyond my interpretation.It starts off seriously and then completely disregards it.Drinking competition really when the town next door was ravaged by the demon of abyss.How am I supposed to take the demon seriously when the characters themselves goof around in this time of dire threat.This is the most forced comedy an anime could ever try.Still I find the reveal to be shocking. |

| Plunderer finally got interesting, that end scene caught me really off guard in a positive sense. It's still a dumb mess which feels like going nowhere with it's story atm but the 'demon' makes this world even more mysterious and worth learning more about I think. Portals? reverse isekai? call me in |

| Licht should stop being so mysterious, it doesn't help and is already annoying. I also have to say that even though the episode was mostly filler it was much better than the filler from the last episode. So the soldier misunderstood everything and was it just a helicopter attack? WTF I guess it's a reverse isekai. PD: I only noticed in today's episode that "something" is different every time in the opening. With every op the blond guy was slowly turning towards the screen. |
