God Dammit dude (dont know to laugh or cry)
I just got over spoilers which I was highly stressed about, and while watching an anime (not gonna say cuz ppl migth spoil), at a pretty big reveal, the animation went halfway and my video froze. Anyone have similar experiences? Pissed I can't rewatch it for the first time.

You just learned why streaming is garbage and should never be done. I learned that lesson 17 years ago and haven't looked back ever since. Torrents >>>>>>>>> Streaming any day of the week.
I probably regret this post by now.

Happens to me a lot, those illegal sites from Kuala Lampur or Tibet can hardly handle modern technology, but still better than paying some deplorable ape from California or West Dakota.

Looking at your watch list, if it's the scene I think it is, I feel bad for you. This is one of the reasons I download everything I want to watch. This sort of shit used to happen to me at the worst possible moments too, streaming is a bitch lol

That's why I always download, watch, delete for new shows. For the ones I really like I might keep the BDs though.

If you use a nice server (like the beta server of kiss) with decent internet speed, it doesn't really buffer. I've always used streaming but never suffered from buffering.

I am too lazy for torrents.

I'm always streaming but that never happened.

My condolences. If your connection is that bad, maybe consider downloading.

I never buffered on my phone. It happens sometimes on the pc, but I just pause the video to load fully and just return if there are some skipped parts. Torrenting is not a option for me cause I suffer from low disk space.

Never happened to me, I've got a reliable prepaid where I could torrent approximately forever. But there was a time where I've fallen asleep in the middle of the episode 3 of Campione only to woke up with the TV already showing me the last episode.

My tv froze during the ending of the no game no life movie. I also got a broken blu ray for the dying of the light movie (not anime) that froze 20 minutes before the end but the movie was so shit I didn't care.

It's been forever since that last happened to me. I got a pretty good subscription going on.
Perhaps it's time to upgrade yours or get a better provider?

I used to think that’s happening because the internet speed was too low, but now I upgraded to 900mbps and still have the same problem on particular sites, especially the hentai streaming ones.

Either switch your streaming service or download your shit. The main streaming service I use for seasonals never buffers so if you want to keep streaming then try other sites.

It happened to me too when the inspectors were explaining how the perp hacked the airplane in Psycho Pass 3, I was so curious about how did he do it, than bam... gray screen...damn vlc player. I deleted vlc after the episode and installed mpc.
And also I was watching nagi no asu kara and some girl was trying hwr old school uniform... then bam... gray screen, I couldn't see the good part where she tried to fit her big booty. Vlc has to die

Watching on DVD/Blu-Ray avoids this problem too, just sayin'...

And while downloading mostly avoids buffering/lag issues, it's still possible to get them if there's some combination of lots of movement/fine particles on the screen and complex subtitle effects going on.

Doesn't sound like that a big of a deal to me...? I don't think I can come up with a bir reveal in any anime I've seen that'd be ruined by that.

Yep. That's the best server for streams I've seen. HTML5 makes significant difference. Those are rare occurrences and usually the only time it does buffer is when you're trying to jump to different times consecutively in a short span.

It's happened to me, but in a way that I actually crack up about now.

Was watching Gintama a few years ago, first time I was ever watching through it, and there was a point where they said something dumb as usual and everyone got quiet. The quiet was taking a while, but there I just sat silently thinking "they insert random silences before sudden punchlines a lot don't they", only to find out my video froze. I had waited a whole minute before I realized what the hell was up

You should laugh. Spoilers are usually just shock effect (especially in Attack on Titan), if you're already engrossed with the story just keep going like if nothing happened.

It never happened to me before and this doesn't look like a good reason to move to torrent. I'd need a better reason.
