| Hayao Miyazaki has come the closest to making anime almost anyone can like however some people still don't like the guy's movies and think they're overrated so yeah I don't think it's possible. |

Create more types of anime and fans will be happier because more people have something that appeals to them. | Other than animators wage compulsory raise to directly raise anime production quality, I am absolutely enjoying watching little people fantasy anime. There was this little nightmare game (I didn't watch nor play though) which was quite popular? So little people, or to fit into animal anime era 2020 with a bang make a story about an ant who wishes to go out and explore world instead of getting overworked to death in a colony. If I had to go my usual isekai route, I'd agree with post 11 (Solo Leveling). The lack of talent in writing might not really be a superstition at this point, just compare the older kamen rider series (human drama) as it gets more and more childish every year. Kamen rider series is just like a hindustan movie mind you, beat up bad guys get happy ending. On a different playing field, I would want to try watching chinese anime with a japanese dub :p. |

| I don't know about what others want but my dream anime would be the slow-paced love-child of Usagi drop/Yotsubato and a nature documentary set in a small rural community in a valley deep between misty forest-covered mountains. Something like Non non Biyori but more serious in tone and the story more family and community centered. Since I highly doubt it would make happy anyone beside me I don't think there is anything that would make happy everyone. |

Regardless, I still feel the need to reply: As unsurprising and obvious as it is, you cannot and shall not create a form of art that everyone likes. Creating art where everyone likes is the most superficial, forgettable, unnatural and unrealizable (or rather, should never be realized) approach to something that mostly is regarded with subjectivity. And removing discontent is a horrible thing you know. |
