| The official website of the Major 2nd anime series announced new cast members for the second season on Thursday. The new season will begin airing on April 4 at 5:35 p.m. on NHK's Educational channel. Daiki Yamashita (Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season) is also joining the cast as Akira Nishina. Cast members Natsumi Fujiwara and Kana Hanazawa are confirmed to reprise their roles as Daigo Shigeno and Mutsuko Sakura, respectively. Main staff members returning from the first season at animation studio OLM include director Ayumu Watanabe, sound director Toshiki Kameyama, series composer Michihiro Tsuchiya, and music composer Shoko Nakagawa. Joining the previous screenplay team alongside Kenichi Yamashita, Mitsuyo Suenaga, and Kenji Konuta will be writer Akiko Inoue (Gegege no Kitarou (2018)). Miki Matsumoto (Satsuriku no Tenshi) is replacing Kenichi Oonuki as the character designer. Yes it is, you have to watch the first 6 seasons tho to get the full experience, and this is my personal favorite sports and shounen anime. |
