So for the past month I've also started regularly exporting my list once a day - which is convenient for a multitude of reasons. Worst case-scenario, I can use it to jump to AniList temporarily if MAL ever goes down for an extended period of time like it did before. |

Only down for a week or so, but even then, and it's not on the wiki, to get back every functionnality on MAL it took 3 months at least. We couldn't send PMs, we couldn't see our lists, the forums weren't there either. At that period I decided to make an Anilist account just to have a backup in case something ever happens again. |

I know that I got tired of waiting to be able to update anything; I also made an AniList account while exploring other websites to use in the meantime. I like the site's look and appearance (especially the sort of integrated MALGraph in your profile section), but it's too minimalist for me to use like MAL |
