Like shitty flash animation. same here bruv - i totally agree with you - i dont see any objective grounds for stating that the new character design is atleast a tiny bit better at all. From a proper anime adaptation, which is following its original, in this case manga, character design... to a new, shitty, less detailed, more rounded and less genuine design of characters which really indeed reminds of some shitty browser flash games from midst 2000s. It maybe wouldnt feel this bad if it was a separate adaptation on its own, but as a sequel which differentiates from both previous season adaptation and the original(manga in this case) it is a totally mediocre decision. They could as well just leave the anime adaptation were it is now without any next seasons, not like it would be the only manga which has just a single series/movie adaptation albeit having enough basis for several series instead. p.s. i wont b surprised if popularity and overall recognition of the 2nd series would b severely lower than the first series EVEN IF they dont follow manga plotline and create smth original on their part that catches the eye, u know, a 'surprise' for viewers or smth. p.s.s. if any1 reading this is offended - dont b, u aint the target of these statements, relax |
| The art looks way cleaner than the first season but I preferred the old colors. Ichika and Nino's hair in particular looks off. The first season had god awful animation IMO but the character designs were more kawaii and closer to the manga |

| to me the colors of the new character designs in 5-toubun S2 looks like it make me blind like a flashbang or a mustard gas so i had to avoid it period and the MC looks more just unlawful too look at him |
