Hardships in life mc and romantic encounter

Hello
I m looking for a story wich includes:
- romance
- the mc has a difficult time with life at the beginning, is tough although a little outcast, and through the process of wantîng something better encounters people who become part of their life (can be something like financial situation or bad parents or discrimation or having to hide a gender or else)
- any format (manga, anime, webtoon etc), not too short
- if possible outside of school for a change but i dont mind if not

I know there are lots out there, so here are some examples of things i liked:
- i love yoo (still ongoing)
- he dedicated to roses
- cat street
- princess jellyfish
- arakawa under the bridge

P.s. my lists are not very updated

Kitchen Princess is a must, it has pretty much all you want (romance, hardships in life before and during the story, school setting) along with a main character who loves to eat and cook!

There's a movie, but its pretty old, the anime's animation is better than the movies, but anyways, this anime is okay, i, personally, enjoyed it, so you should check it out.

No problem, that title is pretty good.

Oh, Prétear?
It's actually not an isekai ("another world") title, it's more of a typical magical girl title with a big emphasis on character development. There is another world in the story, but it's not where the main character stays or anything and she's not reincarnated there either.

Thanks. I will try sangatsu no lion even though i didnt see the romance tag. I had dropped relife but am going to try again. I ve already seen netjuu no susume, i liked it. I ve also watched piano no mori.
