| That was too easy. I hope the next fights are not so brute force like that. Even though this seems like a tokusatsu in the form of a manga, full of absurdities. |
| Not feeling this much. The action is too brief and everything is too familiar as everyone has pointed out. We'll see how future fights play out but so far this is imo the weakest ongoing SJ series. I feel like all the other ones have at least something new to their name. |

| I can see why this got canceled. It's mostly inoffensive fun, but that may be one of the reasons it's just not working. There is very little reason to care for anything happening in the borderline nonexistent story, nor is there a reason to care for the characters. The MC is okay, and everything is certainly stylish, but it's still so vapid. Even the action, despite being quite good from time to time, really does end up feeling sort of weightless because of this lack of setting or scale. I'll read Vol 2, but I don't expect to be feeling all too saddened by its abrupt end when I reach it. |
