| You should try out heybot, it's very absurd, fast paced and has a lot of reference to old anime (probably more than gintama but they are also more obscure) There's also lots of meta humor, breaking of the 4th wall, making fun of its own merchandising, etc if you liked that aspect of gintama |

| OPM would probably be the best choice, it has OP protagonist, it's a parody.. Saiki K, Senyuu, Osomatsu-san, would all probably fit the bill too. But let's be realistic, there is no anime like Gintama. |

| Be warned it's the second season of https://myanimelist.net/anime/71/Full_Metal_Panic but it's basically a side-story centered in comedy, it is episodic and even though it would be beneficial to watch the first season first i don't think it's mandatory. |
