| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Actually kinda cool that we're getting more insight on how Luffy fares in prison and as implied two episodes ago, he won't have it quite as easy Sa it was shown in the manga. Also, King and Queen made finally their appearance and the latters voice is exactly as expected. |

| King and Queen character voices are pretty nice. Queen sounds almost exactly what I expected. King on the other hand is shocking. He sounds too normal. |
| I really like how in the anime they put the time needed to develop the story, in the manga it was too rushed. Also the fight scene animation was pretty good. This arc Toei is nailing it. |

| I have a feeling that some Oden samurais would take a lot of convincing to join their cause as Ashura said. They might even report their plans to Kaido out of spite. Imagine watching your beloved country be destroyed and help arrived after two fucking decades. Some probably lost hope already and held grudges. Like Ashura. |

| 2nd act of Wano kicks off with a scuffle between 2 heavy weights, Luffy's Locked Up like Akon featuring Styles P., Sanj...Sangoro’s 🍜 soba stand doing extremely well, Nami getting her Naruto running on, Also Jack got “sonned” this episode 😂 too funny! |
| The only thing I have to say about this episode is that Queen's voice was not what I thought it would be. |

| Shutenmaru must have reasons for his decisions, his rage for the past 20 years are a thing, but that’s not all. The far distance camera and animation was weird, characters with no face. The ghosts can be related with the other guys Kin’emon is looking for. |

| I was kinda expecting Shutenmarus decision not to team up with the Kozuki clan. Nontheless the short fight Inuarashi was nice. I always like sword fights and both of them are strong. Also nice to see Tama is doing better. More samurai got the paper with the Kozuki sign. Should be interesting to see how much of them will join the rebellion against Kaido and Orochi. I guess Luffy and Kid won't become friends at all :D The 2 new characters at the end King and Queen must be strong as hell. I mean Jack is nobody you want to mess with normally, but he just looked scared and go treated like a henchman. I see possible opponents for Zoro and Sanji. |

| After the fight part, the animation was low down a bit. But as long they adapt the important parts in a good way it doesn't matter to me. Also seems two new bad guys has been introduced on scene. Plus, I must say I'am really in love with the OST of Wano's arc. Traditional japanese music as magic heaven pleasure and exciting the same time. |

| The animation of the fight in the beginning was really mediocre. Not something to brag about, but then again this wasn't a important event, so ofc. they won't put a big budget in the fight either. Very ok. ep. I love how Oda makes Luffy think everything is a race. Didn't take 2 second before working in the prison was a challenge to him. He has probably forgotten his main goal and why he is in this country. I wouldn't be surprised. I also love that there is always a bright smile on his face regardless of what situation he is in. I was really surprised that he didn't pick up that bun that got smashed. Usually whatever condition the food is in, he eats it. Makes me remember the filler ep. where he ate burned (black) food. Hahah I think honestly the best moment is this: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) More build-up episodes next time I guess. |

| Slowly but surely the rebellion shall gather. Sad to see some of their spirits broken. Idky they allow luffy to keep living I guess they are taking him very lightly as he has been defeated by a single swing from Kaido's spiked steel Bat. |

| My favorite part of this episode was Jack meeting with his assumed superiors. For whatever reason Jack has won my heart over, I've gone into reasons why in the past, but it's probably also his demeanor and design. It's also excellent to see him go from the ruthless and unstoppable Jack the Drought to Jack the Stooge. Kaido's men are all at each other's throats with insults, and Jack being able to act big or stay quiet depending on the situation is a nice range. |
| A lovely shamisen yet again greets us to the second act on Wano! Inuarashi VS Ashura Doji, past allies fighting amongst themselves. It's great to see Kinemon taking on the leader role here and stopping their somewhat basic fight. All the while the Strawhats and the others are gathering up the rebellions with their secretive yet open campaign by spreading those sheets around. It's nice to see Carrot meeting his superior and Sanji meeting both Robin and Franky. IMO the highlight is how Nami, a thief, is taken into some kind of apprenticeship under the veteran kunoichi; Shinobu. Nami, Robin and Brook are amongst the best in terms of infiltration and spying. Especially how Robin can grow out part of her body anywhere and how Brook can phase through walls in his soul form, though Nami should have the best skills in those fields considering her experience being a thief of pirates. Not to mention her mirage tempo ability (though I suspect that's useless for people with kenbunshoku haki) I thought Queen's voice would be somewhat higher given his characteristic and personality, somehow got reminded of Pica. Turns out he got a deep bass voice lmao, these guys will be fun to see animated. |
