| O Maidens in Your Savage Season got nominated for the Crunchyroll Anime of the Year for the 2020 Anime Awards. Demon Slayer will most likely win the award of course, but knowing the small amount of recognition this show got and people feeling iffy about the ending, this was definitely a shocker for me. Thoughts? |

I didn't even notice what the nominees were but this show being there is just trolling lmao So no Dororo, no Kaguya-sama, no SnK S3 P2, no Fruits Basket, no Kono Oto Tomare, no Kanata no Astra, no Dr.Stone, no Given, no Beastars but instead this? Oh well, I guess having someone famous like Mari Okada behind the series makes it AoTY worthy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Then again, Ymir x Historia is a nominee for best couple when I don't even think they had any screen time together this year. And people ask why do other's think award shows are jokes looool |

| I mean its really good until the last few ep of it Crunchyroll Awards is just based on popularity so fuck that Shingeki no Kyojin S3 P2 is much deserving to win in AOTY the rest is just okay |

| It was a surprise, but a welcome one. Araberu would have been my favorite anime of the year if Mob Psycho S2 didn't exist, so I am glad it got represented in the AOTY category. However, what I am puzzled about is that it got an AOTY nominee, but no best Drama or best Comedy nominee, which is really strange. |

| Out of the nominees this was probably the best... but honestly no Fruits Basket, Dororo, Love Is War or Beastars? While I think O Maidens In You Savage Season is a really good anime, what the anime of the year should be about is which made the biggest effect on the community this year. Sure, this anime got anitubers talking and praising it... but it didn't really get anymore attention than that, its already been forgotten in this seasonal landscape as well. For someone who gave this anime a 9 I really am bashing it geez |
| Not really. This was a 10 to 10 in my opinion. I have very few. So awesome. I began diving deep too as the thought of sex begins taking over their daily lives like mine. Sex is far more than a physical act of intimacy. None of us would be here without it. It's very spiritual and misunderstood as well as misused. Anyway the topic in many facets was explored in a unique way. This anime deserves the nomination and the manga it came from deserves the recognition. Okada-sensei deserves the accolades from it. 岡田先生ありがとう! |

| Kinda but in a way no. Kids have shit taste, or rather can't comprehend true firm solid writing of stories. Although I don't know if the competition is any better. I haven't been into seasonal anime in years. I'm just watching whatever completed anime at my own pace. |

| I personally think this show is overrated. I basically only see people praising it or claiming its "underrated", so it's clearly not underrated if most people claim it's a masterpiece. I think it handled certain aspects horribly and the entire thing was super unrealistic despite claiming to be a realistic drama about teenagers growing up. The pedophilia stuff was especially handled without taste, but that's not surprising coming from Japan, the place where you can get off with just a small fine for being an open pedophile. (Just look at many Mangaka that got away with it and are still making Manga to this day.) |
